Unlike that BO situation, these ARE real shots (simply downsampled). It becomes obvious when you look at the track. I have seen this game in motion already, and the actual tracks aren't as complex as the console versions (nor as complex as Burnout Legends or Ridge Racers). They appear somewhat similar to those in NFSU-R, actually (though obviously better in a lot of ways). It's somewhat difficult to explain, but if you've played Rivals, you should understand what I'm trying to say. There WAS something "different" about those tracks...
Outside of that, the cars here are less detailed than the console versions (2D rims, lower resolution textures, less overall geometry). The game is well designed from an artistic perspective, however, and I think that is what is most impressive. Everyone should know that the image quality shown is not accurate, but the actual content will be the same. This is not the same situation as the squished BO3 shots.
