It's a bit of text to read through, but i hope someone can help me. If this is the wrong sub-forum, please move it to the right one.
Ever since i bought my TV last year (LG OLED EC9300) i have been looking at settings from people on forums, i've been trying out settings of my own and the settings i have right now i am pretty happy about those. But there are a few things i don't get and i need some help with that. For starters Black level on the TV and Color space on Xbox One. I have the Black level at low on the TV (i can choose automatic, low and high) and the Color space on Xbox One is standard (recommended).
Last week i made another thread here:

And in that thread someone posted this:

A imagine that is used to see if your RGB/Black level is set up properly.
I put this image on a USB stick and inserted it into the Xbox One's USB. I opened up media player and opened the image and the image was not displayed correctly. I could only see the last lower row of boxes and the upper ones were all invisible. As seen here:

I then went into my TV's Black level setting and i put it at automatic and now the image was displayed properly:

But when i go into a game (Limbo) it's washed out and way too bright. Black is dark grey now. In this pic you don't notice it so badly..but trust me, it's grey:

And now with Black level low:

With these settings (black level automatic) i go into Xbox One's own ''Calibrate HDTV'' option it all seems fine for RGB levels. At one part you see a closed and opened eye and under it you see a small example of how it should look. Looks proper. Closed eye is black with grey background and opened eye is grey with dark grey background. Seen here:

But if i put the black level to low and i head into the Xbox One's calibration again, i don't even see the black eye at all. Here:

What is a bit unclear to me is this....the Xbox One here says: Brightness: turn this all the way up , then turn it down so the large closed eye to the right just disappears. So when all is done, should it look like the little box on the lower left of the big box or should it be totally pitch black?
Then i try this calibration disc:
http://www.avsforum.com/forum/139-display-calibration/948496-avs-hd-709-blu-ray-mp4-calibration.html
I put it all on a USB stick and i open the MP4 file of ''black clipping'' in the basic settings folder. The MP4 shows vertical bars going from 2-25 and it tells you to set black level to lowest setting where only the black bars from 17-25 flash. With TV black level on automatic , i see all bars flash and that's not correct:

But when i put the TV black level back to low, i indeed only see the bars 17-25 flash:

So why is it not working for the very first picture? Are the Xbox One's RGB levels still not 100% correct then?
By the way, putting my TV's black level to automatic and keeping the Xbox One at standard is the same as when i put the TV's black level to high, so that can't ever be good. It's a good thing that it looks fine when i use the AVS HD calibration thing, just odd that the first photo is not displayed correctly and neither is Xbox One's own calibration thing. When i put the USB stick in my TV however, the picture is fine, same goes for when i watch it on my phone or Surface. So what should i do?
Lastly...
In the display settings of Xbox One there's a option under video fidelity called Color depth. it's at 24 bits per pixel (8 bit) now but i can also select 30 bits or 36 bits. Should i leave this at 24 bits?
