“Neil Breen : I'm raising money for my next Indie feature film "TWISTED" ( working title), a psychological thriller. This will be my 5th theatrical feature film as the producer , writer and director . My last 2 feature films PASS THRU and FATEFUL FINDINGS have been profitable . Each one of my films gets progressivley bigger , better and more successful.”

Neil Breen has become known for his four previous films, every one of which he has written, directed, and starred in. The films are each quite an experience, and center on themes such as corruption, greed, god, power, hacking, tuna and wandering around the desert. They are also notoriously difficult to find legally online, which apparently is exactly how Neil wants it.

He aims to shoot the new film “entirely at night” with “name actors,” and he assures fans that recurring themes from his previous films (master hackers, roaming deserts) will be absent this time around. Can’t wait.

Pass Thru me if old.

I've only seen Double Down and Fateful Findings. Fateful Findings in particular was just a phenomenal, unmissable experience. I laughed until I cried. Would love to buy his movies, but apparently Neil don't want me, so whatever.

Not really on board with this "name actors" and "no recurring themes" business though. You've built a brand for yourself, Breen. Give the people what they want. I don't think I can donate to your gofundme unless, I dunno, you threw in some blurays...

As someone with zero knowledge of this guy, what kind of work are we talking?

Is this like The Room or Uwe Bol schlock? Or actual quality material?

Yeah, he's a "so bad it's good" purveyor. You have to be able to appreciate shockingly bad movies to enjoy his work. If you do though, his films are definitely recommended. I legitimately had a great time watching the two movies that I mentioned above.

He's actually attempting quality this time. This could mean it will be extremely boring or the biggest failure of all.

It's 50/50 But I say, pay that man his money

As bad as his movies are, they've felt sincere. He's been attempting quality all along. Maybe he's just more self aware this time. Maybe since his work went viral, he's been reading impressions and went "my god, I've actually made a bunch of shit."

Check out the Red Letter Media video with Max Landis in it to see just what Niel Breen has to offer 😂😂😂

I'm not too worried. He's said similar things about his previous upcoming films being big departures from his earlier work. He described Pass Thru as extremely different and it actually ended up being right in line with I Am Here ... Now. It's Neil Breen, he will surely revert to his typical ways.

Definitely not Uwe schlock. Closer to Samurai Cop and The Room. Double Down is kind of like Samurai Cop mixed with a low budget Metal Gear fan film.

Neil's movies not only hilarious but somewhat hypnotic in the way they draw you in. Endearing Awfulness.

He is more of a Tommy Wiseau than a Uwe Boll, he's not putting out schlocky genre junk but rather some truly singular pieces of work. He's like if The Room wasn't an immediate cult artifact and Tommy Wiseau kept making films.

How self aware has Neil Breen become?
This is a worrying possibility.

If an investor wants to donate a large amount you can contact me and we can discuss possible film credits .

ISN'T THAT CORRUPT?

He needs to hire the actors in the 3rd movie . The last one had a couple of passable ones. I can't have that.

I bought Pass Thru from Breen's website. I was expecting at least SOME packaging for the disc, maybe even a Breen pube in the sleeve... but no. Just a DVD-R in a clear case bought from a best buy. $35... worth it? I don't know.
