Anybody know any sites that are still taking preorders for the Hori 360 twin sticks?

Just got myself a bonus so it'd make a nice b-day present for myself when it comes. :D

The damn washer broke the circuit. Now I'm gonna have to buy a replacement JLF. Too bad there are no circle gates for JLF's, I guess I'll have to go with an octogonal gate.

Just solder the broken trace. Looks like a really easy fix!

I scooped up a HRAP EX via the Buy/Sell forums and FINALLY got around to using the buttons that I had bought from Akihabara shop :D Now I have a stick for both the 360 and the PS3! Life is good right now!:lol

I decided to go with a bat top and so far it's okay. I prefer the ball top but I wanted to switch it up for Marvel...

IGN Blog: Harada fleshes out details on the TEKKEN 6 wireless arcade sticks...

My two cents...

The wireless arcade stick is very good. If you're looking for a tournament level arcade stick or something using high end Sanwa components, this stick might not be for you.

But if you want something that plays solid and has the convenience of wireless, then this is definitely the stick you want to get. I have over 120 arcade sticks in my collection, and I will definitely be using this on my X360/PS3 when training at home/in practice mode due to the convenience of sitting on my couch and relaxing rather than propping up my TE stick on my table/on the floor.

The stick itself is compact and comfortable enough to play with on your lap or on a table. Wireless signals have come a long way and if you're worried about lag/latency, you shouldn't be.

The battery life per set of AA batteries on these sticks is very long, it's not like the Li-Ion battery on the Dual Shock 3/SIXAXIS controllers where you get less than 20 hours out of your gaming sessions.

Also,

If anybody is still on the fence about the Tekken Stick Bundle and wants to order it from Amazon I've got five 10% off codes to give away. Brings it to $134.99 (and amazon still might give more of a discount closer to launch). PM me if you need one.

^ This.

Stand up job Yes Boss!

I reserved/paid off 6 of each bundle but canceled 2 because the JPN HRAPs came out lol.

Pre-Order cancel. No Bluetooth on the PS3, no Charge and playkit for the 360. Thanks for saving me some cash MarkMan. Now I can spend the extra cash on the new TE stick for the PS3 to join his brother...The VSHG.

Maybe this question's too obvious, but I just wanted to be safe: If I got a PS2 stick, would a game with d-pad only control (such as Neo Geo Battle Coliseum or KOF2k2) work with it?

yeah, the overwhelming majority of arcade sticks are mapped to D-Pad.
What model is it just to be safe?

Holy Shit! *drools*

I totally forgot that I preordered that MadCatz Asian TE sticks a while back in play asia. Thanks for reminding me, now I am happy. Plus, I just ordered the Femme Fatale stick (even though it's not my favorite design, fuck it, still want, lol), and preordered the MvC stick.

I want all these sticks so bad, esp. that Taito Viewlix and the HRAP V. God damn.

I'm happy Hori is finally changing their stick molds after five years.
They look gorgeous!
Yes, now I could get a "SEGA Arch Button layout" stick for the 360. 6 Buttons SON! Now I could give my boy the 360 TE Stick and forget about buying that Black TE stick. I love the VSHG color scheme on the PS3 *Looks at my HG....Looks like your getting a brother soon*

look closely... the new Horis follow the vewlix (and ascii and namco) layout, not the sega one

Wow,

That is a lot of info-in-photos MarkMan. I like the long and wide profile on the Vewlix/Taito stick.

Did the Twin Stick surface at all at TGS (final product photo, perhaps).

does the HRAP V have a platform? or is it the "baseline" and will be customized for PS3/360 when they finally bring it to market?

It will be on both PS3 and 360.

quoted for truth, the layout on the new Hori stuff is a Vewlix layout, NOT an Astro layout... I believe the other HRAPs use an Astro layout.

The new Hori sticks look like super sex, though... time to STEP YO GAME UP, Mark! :lol

FAKE EDIT: I'd love to get some of those shirts they have at the booth!
