I really just want to see some in-depth video or written impressions. So far everything is "Yeah these sticks are pretty good." Hopefully MarkMan will have a more detailed write-upthe androgyne said:True dat, but i'm not gonna be happy till i see photos for myself![]()
That works too, I just want to know more about these sticks.MarkMan said:My writeup won't go up til Monday at the earliest. It is more of a making of type thing.
Is the regular SF4 stick easily mod-able with Seimitsu joystick/buttons?MarkMan said:My writeup won't go up til Monday at the earliest. It is more of a making of type thing.

can you swap in an LS-32?
Wow. Im assuming their allotment of numbers is gone. Maybe it is a glitch but i dont think it is.gkrykewy said:TE stick is no longer available on Amazon (neither version). Not sure if it's just a temporary glitch.

But the TE looks 100% more sexy in design, and everyone knows it is what is on the outside that counts._dementia said:Consumers' frothing demand for this hardware increases.
Glad I got in when I did.
This is actually kind of shocking considering how easy the regular edition supposedly is to mod.
So true. I think we can expect more sticks from mad catz later on in the future. At least I hope so.ShinAmano said:But the TE looks 100% more sexy in design, and everyone knows it is what is on the outside that counts.

How modable are these?brokenFUN said:![]()
I these a few days ago off play-asia, I really like them. Total spent: $64.03. Works with PS3, PC and PS2. Those SFIV $150 sticks are over rated/hyped and over priced in my opinion.

I do enjoy nice design a lot, but ultimately I'm a functionality over looks kind of guy._dementia said:and those mayflash sticks are every bit as aesthetically appealing and collectible as the madcatz sticks

Last I heard the cutoff date was 10 February, but with an initial shipment limited to 3000 units, who knows.TrAcEr_x90 said:you can still preorder from gamestop right?

They are notorious for not delivering on things.TrAcEr_x90 said:you can still preorder from gamestop right?
Minimum is $50 to reserve a TE.TrAcEr_x90 said:I just called them, they said yes, but of course, this IS gamestop. im going to go put down 5 on it anyways after work.

TrAcEr_x90 said:well i mean 50 then. So they dont normally deliver even with a preorder?
I guess my real question is, is there another place i can preorder thats reliable? since amazon isnt selling them anymore?
I do have the latest soul calibur hori pad. But you guys are hyping this tournement stick so much that i really want to get one, but with this, the game, plus killzone 2 coming out holy shit im goign to be broke. will the pad i have now be sufficient?

My DOA4 Hori and my EX2 hori both developed issues. (Buttons failing on one, mic port dying on the other.) They're OK as long as they work.TrAcEr_x90 said:thanks!
But will my soul calibur hori pad work good? or is there just something spectacular about the parts in this tournament stick??
TE stick utilizes the same high quality Sanwa parts as Japanese arcade cabs. It's a world of difference.TrAcEr_x90 said:thanks!

gkrykewy said:It is weird that Amazon went out of stock of both versions of the stick simultaneously. Could be a marketing ploy by those underhanded MadCatz goons :lol
