You should message Kotaku that picture someone made in this thread that showed why Mad Catz included all 8 buttons... (for SNK, Tekken, etc layouts)
The cause lives on! The graphic, it does nothing.

NCX has the HRAP SE up for preorder. Price is $229.90. A bit pricey, yeah, but damn is it a sexy stick.

Yeah...just preordered one... The price is woah...and crossing into AIB prices. It's going to be the last one I buy for Awhile. Between it and the others I have on the way, my collection has jumped from a modest two in December to nine in February.

Chaoticprout...Gooteks is vouching for VGC. I ordered my second set of TE sticks from there. Probably be better to get it from a more reputable retailer like Amazon, Lizard Lick, Playasia or Gamestop.

vshg is still my favorite.

especially dual modded ones with cthulhu. :D

Hey, anyone know a good PS2 arcade stick that's cheap but good? Also I'd like it if I am able to connect it to a pc.
I just got this.

Not gonna blow you away, but it's cheap, works with PS2/PS3/PC, is solid while still being pretty light, and a nice 'clicky' feel to the stick.

Also, it's supposedly pretty easy to mod if you get into that kinda thing. My first stick ever, and I'm real happy with it so far. Gonna practice my little heart out for SFIV :D

I bought the same stick last week for modding purposes, the stock parts are crap.

Really considering making a fighting stick purchase. Ideally, I'd pick up a Street Fighter IV TE FightStick, but I don't exactly have an extra $150 to drop on a stick alone right now. Question is, would a Hori EX2 suffice, or maybe even the SFIV SE FightStick? But even then, the wait would be until mid-March.

Help me arcade stick GAF. Thanks.

Standard SF4 stick is way better than the EX2. There's really no point in getting the EX2 now unless it's really cheap.

Holy crap this TE better be worth it :D. Just finalised my order through Lizard Lick and it came to $345 AUS, that's not including the $25 deposit which brings it to around AU $380 so I have no sympathy for the guys in the US complaining about the $149 price tag :lol

OUCH! I feel really frugal now.

I'd spend the extra 20 something dollars for an easier upgrade path.
Yeah, figured. I'll probably end up doing that, if I can. Thanks.

Wow, that review has people thinking that the stick is no better than the Hori sticks (DoA4 etc.).

To be fair, most reviewers probably won't even know/touch on the *hidden* features of the standard fight stick. It's all good though ;)

excuse my ignorance but what are you talking about?

Just preordered another TE stick from the Capcom store. For some reason I'm not too confident about my Amazon order so I wanted backup. Worst case scenario, I'll sell my extra one to someone here for the normal price plus shipping.

Speaking of, MarkMan, are you shown the preorder numbers? Just wondering if Amazon allocated their preorders properly or took more than they should have.

There are over 18,000 preorders and an initial shipment is only 3,000.

But everyone who preorders should eventually get one, because they've gone back into production.

At least that's what I've heard, but LOL RUMORS

MarkMan?

Yeah, that's what I heard. But I was hoping the huge number was due to someplace like Gamestop taking too many preorders. Perhaps it was wishful thinking, but I was hoping Amazon allocated properly. Time will tell though. Or MarkMan! ;)
