My guy at Gamestop Germany just told me that they received an email from Madcatz that they will not be able to come through with the preorders at all. It seems that the total shipment of SFIV Accessories totals 2000 pcs. That includes pads, sticks etc. GS Germany pulled every item from the preorder system. I pred the TE Stick at different places (not only GS) weeks ago. 4 of them already bombed. Im seriously considering buying one from the vultures of ebay. To hell with Seth the prick who told poeple to buy "one for ebay".

Just get a HRAP3 and switch out the buttons unless you want the TE stick for collection purposes.

How easy are they to mod?

Buttons have quick disconnects and the stick gate is easy to change as well (no soldering needed), I don't know about how easy it is to swap the whole stick but that is possible as well from what I've heard.

Hi Gaf, what are the best US online retialers for arcade sticks? I am looking for a retailer shipping to europe to get an HRAP EX. Thanks in advance.

360. And im terrible with soldering, modding etc. I suppose i could try but Germany isnt really the mecca of Arcade Stick parts.

Oh. You could try searching for the HRAP EX for 360. All you have to do is open it up, gently pull the wires off the buttons and pop them on the new buttons.

Did he really say that? That is terribly irresponsible and unprofessional. I'd wager 50%+ of the TEs are going to end up on eBay. Now, that was probably gonna happen no matter what Seth said, but still...

He has a point. Well made sticks are recession proof.

Just got the postcard in the mail from Game Crazy advertising TE sticks, SE sticks, and the SF IV game.

:lol

God, i hope i get my TE stick from them. They were taking pre-orders fairly late and just stopped them about 2 weeks ago.

HRAP3 SA has a mounting plate that will support Sanwa and Seimitsu LS-32-01.

HRAP EX-SE does not have a 5 pin connector to easily swap in/out diff sticks.

That's the main reason.

Both sticks are super high quality tho.

They changed the mounting plate between the HRAP3 and HRAP3 SA? Hmm...

:D its here...

Thanks for the photos. I've seen the youtube videos but this is much better.

One question, does it have the thick plastic coated surface like the HRAP 3 SA or the more easily scratched surface of the HRAP 3 EX?

Mine is in transit from NY and won't arrive till next week so if you have any impressions then please feel free to offer them!

beautiful EX-SE... how much did it run you?

i really should have bought an EX-SE instead of a TE... but what can you do

Its the same as the HrapEX - that means its super glossy and easy to scratch (a thin protective film is on the surface - like HrapEX )

Damn, hoping for something a little more durable. Glossy is classier though! That stick is gonna be great for the Cave shooters, that is for sure.

Nice! I really like the pink/black, like the original design for the virtua stick high grade.

There's been a change to the release date for your pre-ordered item.

The new release date is 03/01/2009.

3 weeks?!? where the hell did you order from?

akihabarashop.jp

They ship from japan so it's kinda expected. Would have gotten them from lizardlick, but they have no where near the selection akihabara shop has for buttons. They have practically any kind of color combination for Seimitsu buttons you can think of.

Has anyone else ordered from Akihabarashop.jp before? They sent a notice when I placed the order saying that they'll take a picture and email it to me before they send it out, which is all nice, except it's been a few days and they haven't done it yet and the order is still processing. Do they normally take awhile to ship, or has something gone wrong? ;'( I wants me buttons ;'(

What order number were you?

Anyone got a Pro Tip on the best place to pick up Hori Arcade Sticks in Canada (or any arcade sticks for that matter)????

What do you have against the TE all of a sudden?

sorry to spook you guys! i prefer the tightness of seimitsu sticks, so as soon as i get my TE and test that it works 100%, i will ace my warranty by popping in an LS-32.

had i just bought the EX-SE, i wouldn't have to do any installation and one other lucky person could be playing sfiv with his ballin ass TE stick.

i'm still torn between sanwa vs seimitsu buttons (always preferred HAPP convex so we'll see what's good with the TE's sanwa obsf 30's sensitivity) so either way, i may have to buy new buttons.

Not shipped yet. It'll probably be shipped Monday or Tuesday along with mine (I'm 1225) :(

1174 was the last shipped one for today (or maybe yesterday...I don't know the timezone difference between here and there)
