Bullpucky. I've been playing with a VSHG and have had no such weirdness.A Twisty Fluken said:If you're using the VSHG with the stock PCB, you might be running into input weirdness.

Wow that is truly incredible.
They did a hardware revision. The first batch was kinda screwy.polyh3dron said:Bullpucky. I've been playing with a VSHG and have had no such weirdness.

Everything is working great except i can't pull off some moves (hadoken for example) with the same ease as i did with the 360 pad. oximoron i know. i have seen a lot of guys that have that stick kept the buttons but changed the actual stick to something else. Can someone point me to the right direction to get a new stick and how to fit it in TE stick? thanks guys i really appreciate all the help. Thanks again.
It has issues in certain games. Googling vshg t5dr gave me this quote from MarkMan:buffi said:What does 3-input issues mean?
I have a VSHG and can do Ultras just fine anyways.
Give it some more time. I've been playing with sticks for years but I still had an adjustment period when I got a Sanwa. You keep at it and you'll probably adjust.ggp759 said:hi am new to arcade sticks and i just got my sfiv te stick. "One huge advantage for Tekken that the HRAP3 holds is that it works seamlessly with inputs, unlike the VSHG. The VSHG had a problem with T5DR where inputs requiring 3 or more inputs(example Bryans 1+3+4 taunt or Jack-5s f+1+2 used in juggle enders), whereas the HRAP3 has no problems at all"
I believe it was discussed in this thread previously if you wanna search for more info.
Thanks guys i just got it. It's been over 10 years that i have to play with a stick. I have been playing for about 2 hours. I will give it some more time. I was afraid that something is wrong with it.Rummy Bunnz said:It has issues in certain games. Googling vshg t5dr gave me this quote from MarkMan:

The problem i have is with the ultras especially the double hadoken moves. any tips?ggp759 said:Thanks guys i just got it. It's been over 10 years that i have to play with a stick. I have been playing for about 2 hours. I will give it some more time. I was afraid that something is wrong with it.
What happens when you try to do an ultra/super? Does it come out as a shoryuken? If so, make sure to think about only pressing the buttons when you are definitely holding towards.ggp759 said:The problem i have is with the ultras especially the double hadoken moves. any tips?
yes most of the time comes out as a shoryuken. The probelm is that i cannot do it fast enough so i can defeat the cpu or anyone online.alisdair said:What happens when you try to do an ultra/super? Assembly Required said:I just purchased a Wii Hori fighting stick and plan on modding the crap out of it. I just have a slight problem.. I'm not sure where to buy the needed materials (Buttons, sticks, etc.)
I plan on swamping out the PCB and replacing it with a 360 pad PCB, I just need recommendations on good buttons and a great octagon gate, etc.
If someone can point me in the direction of a good site that sells these items, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm located in Atlanta, GA if that helps.
Still want it? We'll keep on trying. To keep your order for this item open, please click the link below. Otherwise, we'll cancel your order on March 26 2009, if we haven't located it by then.

Adjusting to a stick takes weeks. It's going to be awkward for a while.ggp759 said:sorry for going crazy here but how much is the adjustment period? i have been playing in medium difficulty and when i need to do a quick ultra it never happens. only in training mode. Can anyone who canceled from Capcom answer this?NameGenerated said:By the way, how hard was it for people to cancel their Capcom shop orders? They've charged me for my TE Stick order but it's obviously not coming anytime soon. Amazon's order will be here next month so I don't want my Capcom order anymore. Do I have to call them up and stuff?
Does your Amazon preorder have an estimated date on the TE stick order or does it say they will e-mail you with an estimated date?NameGenerated said:Can anyone who canceled from Capcom answer this?
They bumped it back to March 27th.Linkhero1 said:Does your Amazon preorder have an estimated date on the TE stick order or does it say they will e-mail you with an estimated date?
I'm talking about the actual order page. Because I got an e-mail about them saying if they do not get any sticks by March 26 they will cancel my order. I do not have an estimate date for my order on the page of the order itself.NameGenerated said:They bumped it back to March 27th.

Maybe not a TE, but Ive already passed up several chances to get RAP EX. Had I known it was going to be like this even for early pre orders(First of December), I would have picked up something else. Now that the rush is here, it is next to impossible to get a stick with the major stores, but you can still find them at decent prices.DoubleTap said::lol Can you? Please let me know where. Hori sticks can't be had either unless you're willing to pay ridiculous amounts.
This. When I first got my VSHG I was the same way but now I'm used to it and won't play fighter with anything less than a Sanwa stick (OK maybe a Seimitsu).Rummy Bunnz said:Give it some more time. Osaka said:Man, this sucks. Me and my friend both bought FightStick SE's a while ago, and I've ordered Sanwas for myself. Now his stick broke, and now my friend's blaming me for making him trust in Madcatz even though their stuff has always been horrible.
I'm starting to wonder why I thought of anything else either especially when the SE has some cheapass parts.
Should've just invested in the TE or a HRAP EX, this shit is really inexcusable when the product breaks in less than a week. I've played on 3 different SE sticks now and each one of them have broke since launch of SF4.

I e-mailed them earlier and got a quick response. They said the estimated date for mine is March 27th even though it doesn't show up on the page.coltcannon said:My Dec 30th order is in the same boat. Emailed them just to clarify if the date is unknown or its two weeks from Feb 25th, no response yet. I just hope this situation isnt worse than people who have dates listed for late March-April.
