Finally bought a new PSP, but then pushed the demon onto someone else. Jesus.
Are those the only two iterations of the stick?

I would probably avoid even though it's cheap
VGChampion said:Just curious but why would you avoid? It was my first fight stick ever and thought it was pretty good. I haven't got my TE yet so I can't judge the differences myself yet. If it really is a lot better, I'll be in for a treat.

I am curently playing with a Mad Catz FightPad and acutally like it .. BUT i find it rather difficult to do 360 moves..
please help me decide should i get a stick or not? Is the madcatz stick ok or are there any known problems?

I've been thinking about getting a stick lately but I'm not sure which one to get (or if to get one at all).purg3 said:PS3 Hori Fightstick

SFIV Fightstick
Good stick and can swap parts out easily

DaCocoBrova said:I feel the opposite. I prefer a smaller stick. Unless you're morbidly obese, I don't see how one would have difficulty playing with this on their lap.
I'll agree with you on your lap but I play on my desk and it's perfect. As far as button/stick quality I've modded mine with Sanwa parts for less then the price of a TE so to each his own.gokieks said:You can definitely tell a difference in stick/button quality, and the base is way too small to be comfortably used, either on a table or your lap.

Chorazin said:Nice, I'm doing the same. I need a 360 stick anyway and I want to see the difference between brands.
Might cancel my HRAP3-SA pre-order if the new MadCatz TE stick is due around then....

Yeah, it's pretty cake. Everything in the stick uses QDs so you should be fine whenever you're ready to mod.Danielsan said:I found an online store that sold the PS3 MadCatz SE stick for 75 shipped so I went ahead and ordered it. It should arrive on Saturday.
This will be my first stick so needless to see I'm really curious just how bad I'll be initially.![]()
Would the SE be pretty easily moddable even for a guy who can just barely operate a screwdriver? I'm definitely interested in giving it some original flavour at some point.

TheExodu5 said:SF4 TE stick is the perfect width for me. I'm fairly small, 160lbs...but sitting comfortable, the stick goes from the middle of my left leg to the middle of my right leg. I'd imagine with a small stick you'd need to sit with your legs closed completely, or just support the stick with your crotch (yeah baby).
I just keep mine around as an extra...AZ Greg said:Are JLFs supposed to come with two of the disc-dust covers? Mine did. I read on SRK that one goes under the panel and then the obvious one on the top. But I read some other things that conflicted with that so now I'm confused. If they are both supposed to be used, in which order do I install them?
Bananimus said:I just keep mine around as an extra...
What are you installing it in? I think it's just an extra, really. I could be wrong, though.
