Got my art from arthong this week along with a custom washer and finally finished my Hakumen puzzle fighter stick lol.

HRAPs have 7mm nuts. You'' have to remove the bottom panel first to access these.
The TE uses 3mm hex keys to open from the top.

Thanks , but I should clarify my question. I know what size tools to use to remove the screws/nuts. I'm trying to determine what size the screws are, so if there's ever a need to replace the current ones, I'll have spares. Also the HRAP in question is the Arcana Heart 2 stick which is accessible from the top.

Unless I'm missing the obvious and use 7mm and 3mm screws? Isn't there a thread size/no. too? I seriously have no clue.

Thanks again.

Oh, I have no idea what hex key you need for those top-accessible HRAPs :/
Sorry, the 7mm measurement is for a nut driver on traditional HRAPs (2, 3 EX, etc.)

Yes, Capcom provided the art, and Mad Catz the money, How much closer can you get?

I was questioning the fact they are calling it unique... has to be the most fucking lazy 3 minutes sloppy photoshop bullshit ever.

I sent an email to 'techsupport@madcatz.com' this morning about my busted TE stick. Have not heard anything back...anyone know if this is the best route or should I call them?

Also saw this on their site:
*Note: Warranty does not apply to Licensed Products beyond manufacturer warranty period (90 days).

The SF sticks don't fall into this category do they? I got the stick the day it was available...

Thanks for the help so far.

Man, without the chibi Hakumen (guessing that is you), you're stick is fucking gorgeous.

Thanks, I was trying to make it look like the puzzle fighter characters I used puzzle fighter ryu as a base.

That new TE is the bizness. :D

Not if you browse SRK~! But, yeah, it is pretty cool. Hopefully they don't sell out of them all at PAX so those of us who want it can order the one through Capcom or Gameshark.

MarkMan, are they actually allocating any for the online sites or are they just listing whatever doesn't sell at PAX?

Play Asia should have pre orders up soon. They already have the game up...

That or NCS. I've been bitten by NCS for the last two sticks I was trying to source so I'm not sure if they are listing this one. Seems likely since it is Amazon.jp. Crosses fingers.

Thanks for the PA link...bookmarked!

Still no word on the LE of the game, though. And, it needs to be said again: that is one ugly, ugly, uninspired stick.

There will be allocations for both Capcom store and Gameshark store!

Cool, just saw your post in the pick-up thread. Gonna be attentive this weekend! Nice, did not expect any new sticks for September (besides some old Sega sticks I've got arriving). It is fun that you guys went for purple-ish buttons.

Markman-I know they're saying they will be on sale on Sept 4th (online), but do we know what time they'll available to buy from the Capcom and Gameshark stores? As they're limited edition I'm sure they'll sell out quick, so I'm hoping to pick one up. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

The art stinks on that new TE. I like the all white look though. Might have to get one and change the art/buttons and put on a full plexi.

Like it or not, the new prevalence of the white bases are going to be nice tool for the custom mod folks. Gonna be fun to see what these talented folks come up with!

The stick looks great an i want one. Too bad Madcatz keeps these limited and US only. If there are Comic Con and Pax limited editions, where is the Gamescom limited edition for us Europeans?

Baby steps...Mad Catz is in the process of building a global brand and it takes time (notice the large MC logo on the asian version of the TE).

If you want Sanwa... go with a JLF-TP-8YT-SK or JLF-TP-8YT (without shaft cover).

If you want a Seimitsu stick you'll need an LS-32-01.

Also, for buttons... you can use any 30mm button either snap in or screw in style. Just note that it is a bit tricky to put in the screw in where the A(360)/X(PS3) button is. But it is definitely manageable.

If you want the same parts as the TE, go with JLF-TP-8YT-SK and OBSF-30 buttons.
