Flipyap said:Yay, BUT I'd remove the tiny picture in the corner (the artwork is busy enough without it), move the exclamation mark logo away from the stick (you don't want to cover it) and use the same shade of green.
Wizpig said:What's with "Bat" sticks? are those good for a fighting game?
Or should I buy the JLF-TP-8YT?
Why are people complaining about Sanwa quality? I thought it was the best of the best for fighting games.
FSTE-SE for Deathsmiles' North American release would be godlike.ExMachina said:Yeah, I would to grab a limited edition with a LS-32 and PS-14-Gs installed.
Fighting games, that's why I thought Sanwa was better.Chorazin said:A little backgroud: are you building a stick? Modding one? What are you playing with it, fighting games? Shooters? Arcade games?
Sanwa is the "best" for a lot of people, but sometimes their QC stinks. Seimitsu is "best" for a lot of people, but more expensive so they are rarer to find in home console sticks.

Thanks, and on an unrelated matter should I keep the little switch on LS (left stick) or DP (d pad) on the Arcade Stick when I play a fighting game?Chorazin said:It's all down to the feel, honestly. If you get the chance to play with Seimitsu's, I recommend you do. You might find that you like the feel more, I found out I did.
Overall though, they're both pretty much the same as far as quality goes.

vocab said:If I were to go the seimitsu route for the TE, what would you recommend as a replacement stick? Also, any additional info I should know about installing one of those, or is as easy as installing a sanwa replacement?

Do my stick have this?
Teknopathetic said:"The HRAPs don't have that."
Uh, yes they do.
There's a slide next to the turbo button that says "D L R." D-pad, left stick, right stick.
I saw that pre-edit!

GeoNeo said:LS-40!
Honestly, the LS-32 is so overhyped. And, it has a deep rooted design flaw with the pivot which the LS-40 does not suffer from.
Also, people that I've had over that have used both my LS-32-01 sticks and LS-40 always comment on how rough the LS-32 feels when compared to the LS-40.
If you do buy an LS-40 you will need to buy an S mounting plate for it.

I have put in PS-14-KNs in one of my EX2s, but they're about the same depth as PS-14-Gs and OBSFs.viewtiful_dru said:Has anyone tried Seimitsu buttons in a Hori EX2? I'm going to mod one for a friend of a friend, and I'm wondering if there is more clearance for the PS 14 buttons compared to the OBSFs.
robot said:Finally got some artwork/plexi for my hori ex-se - apologies if you've already seen the image posted in the pickup thread.
The artwork is based off of a new astro city cab panel. Though it was an existing psd from a shoryuken.com user, I realigned some of the assets. Was originally planning to replace the ball/buttons with pink/green to mimic the astro panel even further, but I love the buttons this hori came with.

I'm still going back and forth. I know once I buy it, Amazon's going to have them for $90 again. :lol

ryuen said:Noob question, but a friend of mine is getting rid of his MadCatz TE stick for pretty cheap. From my understanding, it should be fine to take the parts from that stick and put them into my MadCatz SE stick?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
ryuen said:Yeah it sounds ridiculous but the one he's selling is the 360 version and my stick is for PS3.
Thanks for the confirmation though!
Truespeed said:That's great looking artwork. It has that retro arcade style to it. Could you provide a link to the PSD?

Guess I'm going with Sanwa then._dementia said:yes, it totally comes down to feel
generally most prefer Sanwa for fightans, myself included
i loathe playing shootans with Sanwa though, way to loose for my liking.
