Sure :) I couldn't get any great pictures because the lighting is terrible right now but here it is. I'm pleased with it, nice and simple.

A friend of mine wants to change his SE buttons to that of the TE, is changing them out the same as it is on the TE? I have no experience with the SE. Thanks!

He just has to unscrew the bottom, unplug the SE buttons and pop them out, then pop in and plug in the TE buttons (Sanwa OBSF-30). That's it!

It will void his warranty though, just so he knows. Be careful with those screws. They strip very easily.

Yeah, their the same in the inside. Quick disconnects on all parts.

Also this.

Considering to get an arcade stick for fighting games, I'm thinking of HRAP V3 SA to start but saw some discussions about Qanba sticks. Any impressions for the Qanba Q4 sticks as a first stick?

Also, heard something about non-SCE approved sticks (some) get problems with firmware updates... Any truth to that? Any downsides?

Definitely true. The downside is game compatibility. For instance there are some unlicensed sticks that don't work with KOF13. Most unlicensed sticks don't work with PS2 games over PS3 BC as well.

Namco stick geto!

Picked it up used on eBay. Missed a boxed brand new one though. It's in decent shape considering it's 15 years old.

Time to test this bad boy out.

Good Namco pickup BOTEC. I bought one on eBay about ten days as well as a companion to the new Namco stick. Maybe we were bidding on the same one!

Still no shipping from Club Namco...and can't even access my account :-(

Thanks! You probably scored one of the great deals I missed out on due to silly auction ending times. eBay really does not play nice with a 9-5 job schedule.

I just put in some solid hours with Taito Legends on this stick. This thing is hard core as fuck. It feels like a slightly looser Seimitsu all around. Really liking it so far.

I know it might not be the best stick out there but for anyone like me who just want an ok stick that is wireless there is a seller that have the 360 version of the tekken 6 wireless stick for just £35 shipped to EU.

Just need to make the art using this template: http://www.tek-innovations.com/arth...Hobbies TE Full Panel Template_Kinkos Ver.psd . You can find examples of stick art here on SRK: http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.ph...imageboard-instructions-on-first-page.137307/

Art at www.tek-innovations.com has a really nice choice of TE plexi's (bezel size or full panel) and will cut and fit your art as well.

That's what I did when changing the art on my TE-S. It's like $50 for the plexi and art both and they look really nice. He'll even do custom etching on the plexi if you want too!

Real Arcade Pro 2 getting re-released? Wow, the demand won't die. Hell, I might pick one up now too. I love my Namco, but would want a backup in case my flailing breaks the thing.

Yeah, it's crazy. They reissued the HRAP2SA last December too.

Truly though, PS2 has a huge library of excellent shooting and fighting games. On top of that, there are converters out there that let you use PS/PS2 controllers on practically every other system. I's easy to see why the demand is still out there.

No kidding. Buying PS2 controllers is practically future proof. The first thing that ever seems to get released for a new console is a PS2 controller adapter. I currently have my Namco hooked up to my OG Xbox.

And for those that wanted to see 'em (me), SRK user BurningKyo posted pics of the Exar USB Sanwa guts. Seems kind of half-assed. Quick disconnects on the buttons, but an oddly mounted joystick in an unmodified shell.

When it comes to Poison sticks, the more the merrier!

Shidoshi, are you just waiting to get it wired? If so at least post pics of the art!

I need to break down and order the replacement parts, and finish the artwork. I've got it mostly finished, but I'm really anal about design stuff, so I have to keep tweaking it until I'm mostly happy (as I'll never be fully happy).

Maybe I'll buy myself the parts as an early Christmas gift.

so my buddy bought a 8arc pearl at a tournament 2 weeks ago and wanted to have me dual mod it for him thinking they didn't make a white dual mod stick. just finished it today.

too bad we didn't know this thing http://eightarc.com/fusion-ivory

sad story mang.

Well, on the bright side, he gets the wood casing as opposed to the plastic and he gets the detachable cord.

Eightarc is really coming on hard. Their new seimitsu stick would be so hot with a normal black base. Not feeling the translucent blue.

Can't wait to get my Fusion Ebony tomorrow. :D

I'm really itching to throw everything from one of my sticks into a new custom case, preferably something wood. The only problem is I don't really want to buy new buttons and every custom wood case I've seen says you should use screw ins, and I only have snap ins. Really, I just want to clean up my wiring in both of the sticks I've modded but working in TEs is difficult because of opening from the top but still having the pcb etc in the bottom. Seems like it will be much more difficult to get the wiring really nice than something where everything is mounted on one side.

You could always do a wood case with an acrylic or metal top panel to snap the buttons into.

The bigger issue is that I don't have the means or skill to make the case myself so I've just been browsing shops that pre-make them. Though I didn't think about grabbing one and potentially swapping out the top plate myself. Wonder how much effort that would take, or how much the increase in cost would be to have someone do that. I don't have much interest in doing anything regarding building the case itself, I'd much prefer something that comes in such a way that I can just toss all of my stuff into it and just deal with the wiring etc because that's much more interesting and fun to me. Then of course there's the issue that my main stick is modded with a TE Kitty (and if I'm putting this much work into something it should probably be my main stick) and as far as I can tell, to maintain the proper functionality I'd need to rip everything (including the LED daughterboard) out of the TE to do so and that just adds extra mess to it all.

I hate being indecisive/wanting to upgrade things when it's most logical to just leave things the way they are.

I just want to know, what do you guys use for cases to store or travel with your arcade sticks? I have a VLX Pro which I know Hori has a travel bag from their website that you can order off but I have the Mortal Kombat stick which I want to put in storage safely and a couple other sticks (Hori, Madcatz).

I have a backpack with a special spot where I can fit a laptop, made a small cut to make the balltop go through and voilà ! (then again it's just a modded T6 stick, my old HRAP EX or your VLX would never ever fit this way.)

My sticks tend to fit in my standard travel bag so that isn't an issue but as far as long term storage goes, I've kept the retail boxes for my sticks to use in case I ever need to do something like that.

snug fit, but I'm pretty sure my TE and HRAP size sticks fit in a Ben Sherman messenger bag I have.

A friend of mine has one of those MadCatz bags and they seem to accommodate sticks well.

The MK stick is massive though. I would just store it in the box it came in.

Ugh screw that PCB. I put an order in for a PS360 in March...eventually gave up on it last month and got an MC Cthulu and 360 pad. Works the same and actually exists.

Do you mean a T6 wireless? Here it is next to a VX (similar size):

And next to some other sticks:

Stick feels fine. I played about an hour of Third Strike with it. The extra height on the stick does not really bother me. It is very light...just a smidge heavier than the other Exar and Neo stick. Nice to have just six buttons for once, too.

I love the form factor, but the stick mounting is a deal breaker for me. I'd want to swap the stick for a Seimitsu, but the case would have to be modified pretty inelegantly, and that just feels like too much work and expense for a secondary PS3 stick. Looks super sexy though.

Yes Boss!>yep, that what I meant, VX is similar.

I'm looking into making a "small" stick for travel(PS3, 360)/vita etc
I already did a T6 mod which isn't bad but I guess I'll end up building a smaler case with 24mm buttons...
