While it isn't August here where I live yet, it IS August in some places in the world... Here is some of the stuff I got in July...

First off... early in July I got a signed copy of MGS4 in a trade on another forum. I had to trade off a limited edition MGS4 guide and a limited edition MGS4 game. I didn't hesitate at all and was happy with it. When I first received this...

So my favorite pickup this month? Easy...

^ Me in nerdy/fanboy mode...

I was lucky enough to chat it up with Mr. Kojima and got my LE and LE PS3 signed by both him and Yoji Shinkawa. It was awesome, I'm very glad! So I went from being sad and not being able to attend any of the signing events for MGS4 in June, to MEETING Kojima, taking a picture with him, and getting a regular edition, LE, and LE PS3 signed by him the next month! Good things come to those who wait!

Thanks, the camera is really nothing special, a cheap 4.0 mega pixel Fujifilm S3500, you can pick them up for pence. I've been temped to get a better camera for ages but half the fun I find is trying to push my current camera past it's limits.

I'll post my pick-ups, but I swear normally I am not this bad. Most of these, actually all of them are from July but I was just able to take the pics and the July post seems to be gone. July was a tough month because of sales. I almost NEVER buy anything full price but their were too many good deals to be had in the month of July. August will be bad because I'm going to Turkey to visit relatives and vacation so lots of futbol stuff will be bought there.


B1G1/2. After Dark is good so far. I bought Tucker Max because I was in the mood to read something stupid, and it definitely fulfills that.

Haven't seen this game in a store for a while. I like rhythm games so I bought it. Most of the songs suck in the game but it's alright.

Blast Works was $10 and Super Monkey Ball was $4, couldn't pass that up.

Kinda went nuts the week GS had the 30% off used GC games. Mario Golf is crack and Mario Party 5 is the best party game, EVER.

Fifa 08 is the only game I have purchased at full price in a long time and regret it, too expensive although it is good. It was an impulse buy. Tony Hawk was 5 bucks and Def Jam was 7.

This was my birthday present from my parents, I wish I wiped it before I took the picture though. I had a difficult time with the lighting so I don't want to try again.

Regular shoes. New Balance is really comfy and I have a lot of foot problems unfortunately so I have my inserts in there.

Sennheiser H150's. Super cheap and very good sound. I need them for the plane ride to Turkey.
