I've just been reply banned in another thread for saying less than what others get away with. I think it's clear that I'm not a contributor to this site and probably best I look for gaming discussions elsewhere.

Hmm, the wrong post was linked that was actually the catalyst for review. I've updated it now, though it's in the same thread. Whenever you see 'Multiple' tagged in the ban line it means the post linked is more reflective of the behaviour/incident that is being identified. The mod is required to provide a lengthy evidence trail to other mods over a period of time, with links, threads and audits of persistent behaviour. If the conclusion is that the user actually isn't here for discussion then they get temporarily removed and asked to reflect on why they ae logging in, and if they want to continue to do so.
In this case, this user seems more hellbent on hurling insults, derailing threads, antagonising users and being overly aggressive. So they've been given an ultimatum basically.
