1. You lock the thread so how do I participate? I don’t live here 24/7, people have a life outside this forum hello? I should not have to, but a mod should at least contact me and give me a few days to engage before locking and the warnings. Not thread locked and then warned me for not engaging. This is so completely backward and ridiculous
2. There is nothing worthy to engage or discuss. 1st reply was calling me a Karen. 2nd reply calling me a moron. 3rd reply was said to vote Trump in his 3rd term. I mean,please guide me on what is there to discuss. I was bullied out of the thread and somehow I got punished? Maybe the problem is the other users and not me?
3. I was just reporting the news as it was. I didn’t twist the facts or clickbait like @cryptoadam does on a daily basis. I saw at least 10 of his threads got locked but has he ever even getting a warning? How many infraction point does he has? Trump said something dumb so I just reported it, is this not allowed in this forum?

I had a quick look at the logs and it wasn't for a meme the reply ban was issued, it was for dragging a personal feud with Bo_Hazem into the thread. We'd prefer to keep the meme threads at least somewhat light hearted as there are enough squabbles in all the other threads. If you feel you can move on from it and just post memes then I can remove it. Your custom tag already appears to have been garnished differently at this time.
I see the situation has already resolved itself with Athena, but to clarify this was not a bias decision at all. This was a signal to adapt their behaviour, specifically in the Politics subforum, which revolved around creating 'bait' type topics to never actually discuss them further. Just attempts to try and start a topic in the hope it blew up. Further to this, there were the empty replies which were of no substance or genuine attempt to discuss the topics at hand, just derail into drama or provoke multi-quotes. User history and activity was taken into account, and a brief sample supporting the warning is evidenced below. Lastly, the thread was only closed and Athena was only warned with the text of 'Either start engaing with your topics, or you will be given a break' issued. Of course trying to misrepresent this carries further action which has now been doled out.

That's a shame. The new tag was only temporary - as a light ribbing, that mods/users could share a laugh over. I've updated it to reflect something like the compromise you originally suggested here:

The latest reply ban does seem to have merit though from a quick look. It was a well established technical thread about Oodle that you just dropped a console war style remark in. Reply bans are used to stop you going too far yourself, or just to send a signal out that 'time and place' need to be judged better.
I'd suggest taking a night or two? Sometimes a little spate of events can make you feel worse than is intended, or feel a little unwanted which is not the case. Think it over, and I assure you, though you may feel it's only yourself getting reply bans or warnings it most definitely is not the case.
