This is quite simply untrue. Every person who routinely interacts with this thread has had multiple posts moved and deleted. Hence why we are going to start rolling out temporary reply bans for the thread for repeat offenders.

I had a notification and a post deleted yesterday too. It was off topic, really no big deal and I totally understand why it got deleted.

Don't let something as minor as this bother you, Fake, you're a good poster overall.

I was laughting at him this morning because I also got my post removed. No big deal at all. He was saying that and I was "who cares, 2 hours later we both will forget". Its good to remain in good humorous side even in situations like that, reason I like Mod of War and Evilore.

Still didn't get much of confidence in this mod, no offense. You didn't sound humorous neither get much of honesty in your word. Maybe with time we will get used, I believe.

I lost count of how many times he was banned. It felt like he was on the ban page every other week.

It looks like it got to a point even his revised way of trolling put him over the top (his posts morphed into subtle quick hits last bunch of months instead of list war kinds of posts earlier in the year or last year)

Happened to me last week and it actually gave me pause for thought. I concluded that I was being an asshole. Would much rather have a post removed than get a warning. Mods doing good work and handing out "punishments" smartly and not being heavy handed imho.

People really trying to defend Vawn?. Everytime i saw one of his posts, it was anti Xbox, even when the thread had little to do with Xbox. His posts all had a real bitter angle to them, not like how some fanboys joke with trolling, Vawns always came accross as bitter, like he was Scrooge writing about Christmas lol.
Kretos wasnt too bad, but people only get so many warnings, and rightly so.

I don't get why so many people come back with alts instead of just letting the ban expire. Seems foolish.

I know Vawn IRL and have been good friends with him for over 15 years. We met as co-workers. He's just a big time joker and full of sarcasm. He doesn't hide his Sony fanboy-ism. I tease him about it all the time. That being said he does indeed own an XBox One along with a pre-order for an XSX, so he's got love for both no matter how much he may deny it. I saw the post he got banned for, and come on... he was clearly teasing and just messing around. I'd agree with it if it was an actual attack, and maybe he's not always obvious with his sardonic tone (Poe's Law in action) . Anyway he gives good analysis and feedback in the other threads along with his humor. Gaming is pretty much his life, and the board would certainly be a less fun place without him. :messenger_crying:

Listen i have had run ins with him before, and i tried to make up with him, replying to his posts, liking his posts etc. I dont hold grudges, he seeems to, and he's very bitter about it. People will be joke bantering with each other ina thread, and then he'd come in and do a real bitter post, and ends the fun. Try to say anything positive about Xbox, or negative about PS5, he'd be right there with a bitter responce.
His mod ban message says it all.
People like Bryank and Bo are HUGE fanboys, and can be annoying, but i quite like both of them, even though they annoy me so much at times :messenger_tears_of_joy:

I definitely see what you mean from an outside perspective. He doesn't put enough smiley and/or sarcasm tags in his messages and can definitely come across as a bit of an ass. That being said if you ever met him in person you'd understand where I'm coming from. Maybe he does need a lesson in how to write without sounding rude. Either that or the mods could just stick smileys in all of his messages. :messenger_winking:

He's been on my ignore list for months (he gets the dubious honor of being the first I ever ignored) and I can assure you the board is plenty of fun without him. 🤷‍♂️

In a vacuum the post really isn't that bad (hence the short ban) but context matters. Bo was insulting Exo One and not praising Dreams, whereas if another user posted the same thing it probably wouldn't result in a warning or ban because you can't accurately gauge their intention (unless they have a post history like Bo), so if he was serious about it he should have known enough to clarify he was serious.
 
As one of the mods said earlier, people are purposely ignoring the "multiple" warning tag. The ban page only links to what looks like the last straw post, but if someone has multiple warnings, it means there's other ones.

I had a post deleted recently, fair enough, not my finest hour.

You need to drop the paranoia, sometimes the fault likes closer to home than we like to believe.
 
I'm in here late but seeing that Vawn Vawn is now permed was expected. Since I've been here, he'd already had about 3 temps. He wasn't contributing useful threads or posting. I'm surprised he lasted this long. There are a couple more which need not be mentioned which are right on that fine perm-ban-line right now, too. And no...I'm not talking about Bo. Bo keeps warring but the guy is good at collecting himself.

Tomorrow's Halloween and I heard that Mod of War Mod of War is sharpening his double-edged axe. ;) Could be a bloodbath.
 
You guys really just need to calm the hell down you can't like freak out every time there's some threat about oh no the new console doesn't have the rdna 5 let me tell you something I don't even know what that means. I know bigger numbers are better at least that's usually the case unless we're talking like golf or something. Basically I don't get it it's like okay you've decided you like one person's consoles better than another and that's the one you're going to buy and that's the one you're going to enjoy but that's not enough for you you need other people online to know that your choice was the better choice you need to stick it in their face and be happy about it it's like what the hell is wrong with you were you not loved as a child I don't understand
 
i got a two-week ban back in sept into October.

ever since I've been back i have not been allowed to create threads. is that permanent or when will that lift?
