Honestly, if it were up to me I'd just remove the politics sub. It's a hell hole and I feel sorry for any mods that have to read through some of the shit that gets posted there.

These types of boards always attract political discussions, its important to have a place where you can quarantine keep all the related conversation so it doesn't bleed into the other forums.

Finally got done reading all 31 pages of Blu's attempted but ultimately failed manifesto. Truly a supreme gentleman. His sacrifice will be remembered in annals of history...as being entirely unnecessary and self inflicted.

I feel genuinely bad for guys who get into that black pill mindset like BluRayHiDef BluRayHiDef . They can end up wasting years of their life with that sort of nihilistic, self-destructive mindset. And that's in the best case scenario that they do actually shake themselves free from it. I hope he's able to move on from it soon and find some happiness in his life. As ridiculous as his posts were it's sad to think someone's going through their life genuinely thinking those kinds of things.
 
Is this the right place to ask about a warning I got.

It was for "Console Warring" and I'm just really confused.. it didn't indicate a post, and it looks like 1 of my posts got deleted. I only know that because I got the award for 5000 posts, then suddenly the warning, then I had 4999 posts lol

Not complaining I'm just generally trying to figure out WTF I did.. maybe I don't remember joking around or something, but I honestly first assumed it was a mistake.

Not knowing what post did it is a little odd.. I really don't "console war" so have no idea what I'm supposed to not do to avoid getting banned.

Mod of War Mod of War are you the right person to ping?
 
I realize you're just trying to defend GAF from potential disingenuous reeturners, but I think EviLore EviLore is tired of everyone trying to second guess each other's motives all the time. Does more harm than good. Morons will out themselves eventually, best give everyone a fair shake.

Politics forum ban-worthy. You're a fairly level headed guy, however, so I think a warning might have been better, but I wouldn't sweat it too much. Reasonable people who get banned from a forum usually get it back after some time off and an appeal. Don't take it too hard. This hasn't been an easy month.

I know. I tried to stay out of it but that guy coming in and saying that shit just triggered me. Especially after losing members who I genuinely liked. Just kinda weird.

Yes, it is entirely possible especially if you are not attracted to them or they are in another relationship with someone else. Doing that AFTER a relationship usually is not a great idea. The girls I am friends with are mostly acquaintances who are either in relationships with other people or ones I am not sexually interested in. So perhaps acquaintances is a better word.

I have had "girl fiends" wile in a relationship before and know two very good friends that do, they keep it respectful and they don't have crazy girlfriends. I agree it is more rare and spending a lot of time with a female while married is a bad idea anyways. Keep it at an acquaintance level as I have said, it is a better word. I haven't had a true BFFs with a girl which is what it seems you are referring too.
