The flaw with all those discussions from incels is that they take the data from Dating apps and then apply it to all women. Not all women are on dating apps, don't want to be or even need to be and I'm sure they are a greater majority. Its as useless as using women that are in nightclubs or bars in the middle of the week as a data point and applying it to all women.

True, also they are designed to have people judge you by looks (Tinder) so it's no surprise you will get that reaction. Where Incels really fail are in person attempts. You can improve on your looks all you want but if you still act like a awkward creepy, women are not going to stick around you. They need to first practice being friends to women before making serious advances so they can improve their social skills.

Yes, it is entirely possible especially if you are not attracted to them or they are in another relationship with someone else. Doing that AFTER a relationship usually is not a great idea. The girls I am friends with are mostly acquaintances who are either in relationships with other people or ones I am not sexually interested in. So perhaps acquaintances is a better word.
Keep in mind, I am speaking from my life experience.

Depends on the men and women, no? If they're both gay...then absolutely! And how you define friends. It's my opinion that between two people that are sexually compatible one party developing feelings for the other is almost inevitable (I mean it wouldn't be that surprising, they do clearly like one another, otherwise they wouldn't be friends) but that doesn't mean friendship can't happen, it just might not always be totally platonic, that can come and go, one of my longest running friendships is with a girl I used to have a crush on back in school.

I also think it starts with loving yourself first before you can hope to love others and receive love in return. It’s easier when you’re single and under 25 or if you’re surface level “work friends”.
Once you get married a lot of people kinda stop being friends or at least making new friends with the opposite sex out of respect for their spouse. Unless it’s a couples thing and the four of you hang out.

When Harry Met Sally had this right 32 years ago. Nothing has changed since then. For people who are not otherwise in a very serious relationship at least.
But even when they ARE in a very serious relationship, the man still wants to bang the woman if the woman is attractive. Period. And for men who are aging, or losing desirability themselves, leading to standards dropping, yeah the unattractive ones they will probably want to bang too. Maybe the man has self control and would never do it. But he still wants to. Anyone claiming otherwise is full of shit.
