To the people disappearing for 3-4 years after posting a couple times only to come back so they can request a ban, just log out like a normal user. I really think the ban list should be reserved for troublesome users only or those who want to take a break, but none of this "Remember me? No? Well I'm leaving" type bans.

It looked like he did a little gleeful ‘clapping back’ at the console warriors on the PS side, for obvious reasons this morning, and while I can see where that behavior would be frowned on, a permaban is absolutely shocking.
