Just saw that Birdo and SonGoku are banned. That's a huge shame especially with SonGoku since I like his technical posts on the next consoles. I hope that they are given a 2nd chance, but the consequences were made clearly so they don't have any excuse and it's up to the mods, not me.

I think the direction TLOU2 is taking is akin to The Last Jedi and the memes mocking the game are hilarious. However, to spoil the plot to those who don't want to be spoiled is a scummy move.

I have zero tolerance for spoilers and EviLore knows how much i hate spoilers in general.

My point was that KageyK was trying to downplay and dismiss the seriousness of the spoilers because it wasn't an Xbox exclusive but it it were, he would react differently.

Just making this clear, members on GAF know how careful I personally am with spoilers.

The plot in the first game was kinda dumb too, it's the characters and their interactions that elevated it way beyond the simple plot. Give the game a chance, there is still so much context , (thankfully I've avoided all but one spoiler), that spoilers can't convey. I think we have to experience it on our own.

As for the second part of your post, it beggars belief how pathetic some people are. They will stop at nothing to tear something down, it's truly astonishing.

I personally knew people who died from cancer and it really sucks to watch them suffer through the illness.

This is why I've tried to advocate for long term bans for people who otherwise would be permed (6-12 months+). But I don't feel like I know what's better than the actual mods, so never tried to push the issue. Something tells me it's not that hard to re-register after a long period has passed.
