These are getting charged on my July credit bill and I picked them up today, so I'll count them as July pickups

Egde 203. Didn't even realize that 204 comes out on Friday already.

Monster Hunter has been pre-ordered for months and I was out of the country when it came out last week, so I was much obliged to finally pick it up. Earthbound got traded in at work by some silly customer, and I snagged it for $35. Been waiting a loooooooong time to finally own this one.

As of today, I am half-way done in building my gaming hub. Here you see the main layout. The HDTV will go on the IKEA stand on the left, along with my Xbox 360 and DVD Recorder, while most of the consoles will be on the right. The hard part in this setup was the fact that I had to get a new electrical socket installed. I also tried to unfuck what the cable guy did so the coax attaches to the cable modem more easily. The Router is a WRT54G with Tomato Firmware. Also pictured is some comic stuff from MegaCon that I have to put up.

As you can see, a PS2, Dreamcast, N64, Wii (My 10th Wii btw and HOLY LORD IT IS PERFECT! THANK GOD! Haven't homebrewed it yet, but I will soon.), and a GCN make up for current consoles. 360 is connected via HDMI, Wii and PS2 are component, and everything else is composite, though I really want to get at least S-Video cables for the rest of the stuff. By the end of the year if all goes well, the PS2 will be down-graded to composite to allow a PS3 slim to be connected via component. On the right, is the charging place where a DSi, a GBA SP 2, and a GB Micro are charging. You can also see 2 penguin game cases, each with 24 DS Cards in it. GCN also has an e-reader!

More gaming figures/plushes/standees/posters to come obviously, but I decided to put these of Rosie, Peach, & Bowser here for now.

I give it 2 more weeks max until I am completely done. Still need to make room for the fridge for the Pepsi/Mountain Dew.

I REALLY want a GCN Component cable though. WHY IS THE CURSED WIRE 80 USD GOD DAMN! :lol

June was a slow month game-wise, July looks to be a repeat performance. I'm just gearing up for a big late-Summer/Fall.

The awesome Let's Tap and a Wii MotionPlus unit (bareback FTW). It came alongside the Tiger Woods bundle, but I swung the game onto eBay ASAP. Hated it. Gimme WSR.

Tickets to see Britney Spears in September, proudly on display. They're for center stage ringside stool seating, which is an incredible position. I was stoked to snag 'em, there are only 32 per venue and all sold out in seconds.

Tap Tap Revenge: Lady Gaga. I've increasingly become less and less a fan of the iPhone as a game platform, but this one was fun while it lasted. Gaga rocks.

Wifey got me an autographed ball by Kobe for my graduation. :3

Bro got me these including a Mario Galaxy keychain for graduation.

In keeping with the black and chrome trim for my electronics, I got an HP dv2 notebook. Love the form factor and weight. Considering it came with an external DVD/RW Lightscribe drive on top of its nice specs, I can't complain.

Joined the DSi bandwagon and got this MS Bluetrack mouse for the laptop. The scroll wheel sucks, but wow does it work on any surface.

Necessary buys yesterday.

And picked up some ribeyes from Costco for some feasting.

don't have much spending cash right now and i've been very happy with the deals i've gotten recently

Yamaha RX-V1 receiver -- Yamaha's past flagship receiver, MSRP $3,200, and i got it for $110 in fantastic condition (doesn't have HDMI but it has plenty of optical inputs). cables are shipping now from monoprice so i'm not completely set up yet.

to make use of my first receiver, i've began getting cheap speakers to build a surround sound system. this is a decent JBL center speaker i grabbed for $10. need to clean it but it sounds fine.

Demon's Souls -- got it for $30 because the case is slightly damaged. this game is so much fun.

hope to find a cheap but decent subwoofer soon. once i have that, i'll be in 5.1

Two Razer DeathAdder mice: (one for my Vista PC and one for my Mac OS PC)

Console/PC games. Banjo was $9 at Target. I picked two up and traded the second one (along with two other things I had) at Gamestop and got Fight Night straight-up. Target also had Prince of Persia for $15. I wanted the PC version though so I went and exchanged it at Wal*Mart. They didn't have PoP for PC so I went with Prototype.

A bunch of DS games picked up on the cheap recently. Most were from the Gamestop buy 2/get 1 used game sale.

Sold out now (there weren't terribly many made), there's plenty of cheaper yo-yos than that are perfectly fine as well.
