August is over! We're now in September! That was quick! Are you ready for last 4 months of the year? Ready or not, here we come!
Sorry everyone for posting the thread later than usual! I'm at the airport traveling back from PAX Prime right now! Please post your favorite pickups from August and your new ones (if any) from September!
Here's what I got in August!
Had to get a new pair of cool grey Nike Air Huaraches and another pair of an OG Nike Roshe Run colorway (to replace my beat up pair)...
Jackie Chan's Police Story 2013! I'm a big fan of JC and was excited to finally get a chance to see this flick.
I never got a chance to play The Last of Us on PS3, so I didn't hesitate to play through and experience the remastered version on PS4 and WOW what a cinematic gaming experience! The pacing and story was on point!
Magneto & Orochimaru... Blind box toys/keychains. The hard part is going to figure out where to put these lol.
You might have noticed... I like sneakers. I am in love with the new sport blue Air Jordan III. It's an awesome take on an old favorite (Black Cement Air Jordan III), and the blue matches my Mad Catz PS3/PS4 Arcade FightStick TE2!
Got the limited Air Jordan VI in varsity red. This colorway is a tribute to the Spizike / Spike Lee.
The aforementioned Air Jordan IIIs in sport blue were so hot, I had to get two pairs. Even Air Man approved of it.
I bought close to 600 games for about $50. lol. I gotta post the crazy story behind this sometime...
The Air Jordan I KO (AJKO) in sport blue, a nice throwback to the original royal/black colorway from 1985! Love the canvas version of the AJ1!
Got some original Air Jordan XI lows from 1996! One of my favorite pairs of Jordans while growing up. I saw a new pair and just had to jump on it.
Brought these cool Mad Catz shades to give away at PAX this weekend!
The Air Jordan Future! I love the 3M version of these, they shine so bright! The Air Jordan Future is a lifestyle take on the Air Jordan XI with a mesh/woven upper (they have other styles too)...
NikeTown Seattle was kind enough to hold me a pair of the September Blue Air Jordan 6s (Sport Blue now I guess). They haven't made this particular pair in over 20 years! I was so stoked to get them (blue is my favorite color) and they also match our new arcade sticks (pictured below)!
