It was fairly evident that the game was coming soon, and the trailers they've showed have oozed with atmosphere.
Yes, since Gearbox are involved the game will be received with some trepidation. That doesn't mean you still can't anticipate the thing. Not a single vote? Come on. Doesn't anyone find that weird in the slightest?

Overall pretty consistant with GAF. 4 out of 10 in the top 10 isn't that unexpected since GAF has such great taste on average.

Some of these games can't come soon enough. At the moment though I think I'm looking forward to Gravity Rush Remastered most though since that releases on my birthday in a couple of weeks.

2016's gonna be a great year, especially for PS4 owners.
Out of this 25 games list of most anticipated games, 20 will be payable on ps4, 11 on Pc, 11 on xbox one, 2 on 3DS, 1 on Wii U and 1 on psvita.

With Zelda's entirely unsurprising delay to 2017, our 2nd casualty from the GAF 2016 most anticipated Top 10 games list has now revealed itself.

NieR: Automata has now broken its way into the Top 10 ranks. Who could have imagined that possibility this time last year? Here is the updated list...

1. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (in 13 days - unless you happen to be a thief in Europe in which case you're playing it now) {also voted most anticipated of 2015}
2. Persona 5 (Summer 2016 - Japan; hyped up reveal announcement for next Thursday to possibly solidify a date) {voted 8th most anticipated of 2014; voted 6th most anticipated of 2015}
3. Horizon: Zero Dawn (TBD 2016; remains on this list despite shinobi602's sourced intel stating that a 2017 release is inevitable)
The Legend of Zelda (delayed 'til "sometime in 2017") {voted 3rd most anticipated of 2015}
4. Dark Souls III (Metacritic = 89 / OpenCritic = 88)

Nier is gonna be 2017, and i think FFXV is still at risk of a delay, regardless of all the confidence Tabata has of its scheduled release.

But it's always like this.
Last year also, half the list got bumped.

Damn this was made in Jan and I'm just seeing it now?

Not seeing the hype with Uncharted. I'm getting tired of the series myself. Looks like Horizon isn't coming this year. Still never got to play SFV. I want to play Personas 3 and 4 before 5 and am looking forward to XV, but none of this means shit if I can't find a better job where I can afford a PS4.

And we were making so much progress towards avoiding the "4 out of our top 10 games get bumped to the next year" curse, too.

Hell, if The Last Guardian gets bumped to 2017, we'll hit 5 misses for the first time. We really need to do a better job of voting for games that are right around the corner in these threads.

And, because I jinxed myself yesterday saying I would only need to do one pre-E3 revision to this list... unless you speak Japanese, of course, in which case you have an actual Persona game to play this year instead of just one to watch on Twitch...

The Last Guardian may make it 5 of the top 7... and what's more hilarious is that Final Fantasy XV - one of the most delayed games of all-time - winds up being one of the few games that sticks.
