The amount of excitement for Mass Effect is truly puzzling.
1. We've seen nothing on the game.
2. It's being developed by a completely different team, largely staffed by the Army of Two team.
3. Mass Effect 3 was such a colossal goat fuck that you'd think it would've soured people on the franchise.
I guess it's true, stick a known brand name on something and people will go for it no matter what.

For all the hate ME3 gets, many people still really enjoyed playing it. I loved it. Wasn't 2 but I loved it.

Looking at that top ten, there's a lot of RPGs on there.

Nothing about QB is remotely interesting to me aside from the nice production values. Nothing about it seems overly exciting.

I don't think so. Xbox One just doesn't have the following of other platforms on GAF. Don't expect an Xbox exclusive to ever be in the top 10 this gen.
Mass Effect a bit lower than I expected. We haven't really seen anything yet though.

I was excited until the Gamescom showing which felt like a snoozer to me. Which was actually surprising to me, because I expected it to be the game that sold me on the system.
Out of all the games in this list, I think it's a given that Uncharted 4 will be tremendous. It totally deserves the top spot.
Personally, I couldn't choose between FFXV and P5 so I didn't even bother voting. A year ago, Persona 5 would have been on the top but I've tempered my expectations a little. The game has a lot of visual stuff going on at the same time that was a bit irritating in the TGS 2015 trailer. The tone is intense and a complete opposite of the laid back tone that I loved in P4 (and pretty much all media that I enjoy). Still, there's too much going right with P5 right now for me to even consider this that much.
Can't wait for Uncharted 4, Persona 5, and FFXV. Horizon is a sleeper pick but when they made a whole video describing simple RPG mechanics for the game, I had to step back a little.
I'd also love to be excited about Zelda, but we know next to nothing about it. I can't get a good feel of it.

That's an incredible Top 25. If the 24 that aren't already delayed come out this year, 2016 will be an amazing year.

I personally didn't expect it, actually. It got #8 in 2014, and #6 in 2015; I figured it would have been in the 6-8 range again, with people being a bit tired of anticipating it. I guess it's the effect of believing it'll actually come out this year.

Surprised to see Odin Sphere Leifthrasir so low, but I guess it is a remake. Looks effing amazing to me though. I could easily see it being in my top 3 this year.

Because they're fun as hell, have really good characters, and amazing set pieces. To each their own though.
