NESRGB boards and cables just shipped! Cant wait!
Post some pics when you get the mod finished. I'll be keeping a close eye on how this turns out.
cannot wait to see said screenshots man! gonna get me even more hyped for the next wave of boards, whenever that happens.
I remember playing Guerilla Wars on NES when I was 5 or 6 years old. I still have the music playing in my head.
Speaking of Hoops, I wonder how Double Dribble holds up?
eh but it is pretty fun just to turn on and hear the dude say double dribble in that funny chip tune voice
Wasn't zen a valiant comic from the early 90s? Think I had some of those.
Which version of Castlevania III is better to get, JP or US? I've heard the JP version has a different soundtrack.

Would the JP version work on an NA NES with a converter? Or is that one where the sound chip wouldnt work properly?
You have to modify the nintendo itself by bridging a 47k ohm resistor between 2 pins (cant remember where exactly), and the converter also has to be modified to get the extra channels from a cart.
Famicom games have 60 pins and NES games have 72 pins. You'll need an adapter to use games for one on the other.
Thanks, just did some searching and found this thread.
Seems like a lot to go through just for one cart. Not going to chase that particular rabbit down the hole...yet.![]()
So I have a question for you guys.
I have a top loader and I love it. Problem is, the RF connection on the TV I have doesn't work great and I'd like to connect it via composite but as you know, the top loader does not come with composite out.
I'd like to do this without modding the system. I looked up RF Demodulators but they are expensive and I'd like to avoid spending over $100 to do this. I was wondering if something like the below would work to convert the signal to either composite or component. The current tube TV I'm using has both types of inputs(it's not an hdtv, just has a component input).

Thoughts on Contra Force anyone?
I just found out my Dad threw out my NES when cleaning the attic. I think I am in mourning...
Has anyone played Zen the Intergalactic Ninja? I have been listening to the soundtrack (thanksbasedkonami) and wondering if it's worth picking up. The character is pretty rad looking.
You know...unless I find Mighty Final Fight in the wild somewhere...I think I might just roll with the Famicom version.
