Yeah its nice its fixed for current members for 2 years, but i really do think the UK is one of the last regions that should be getting the price hike 1st considering the content difference compared to other regions.

Its still a good price, but when other regions can easily have more than double the content for a cheaper price (when converted), it kinda stings a bit.

I do think that we still get an amazing value for it being so cheap compared to the likes of other streaming services in uk

I got Netflix when it first came out over here at £4.99 a month, I cancelled right before it went up to £5.99; so when I got it back I had to pay the higher price. Not doing that again haha

OH i agree it is amazing value on its own merits compared to other similar services in the UK (especially the rip off that is Now TV), its just not as amazing when compared to Netflix's other regions.

I'd still pay £6.99 for it (well i won't for 2 years ), but it would be nice that considering when converted its actually one of the most expensive regions - that it had comparable amounts of content to the other regions.

Thankfully its a bit of a moot point as we have HOLA and VPN's .

I'm fine with slight hikes if they keep doing fantastic originals. People will pay $30 for a single season of something alone and Netflix has been giving me many seasons of many good shows over the last few years. There's almost always something I want to watch on it. Now if I'm paying because I want a selection of good horror films, I wouldn't be too thrilled about it but TV wise I'm mostly okay with what's there. The Marvel stuff has been pretty good and consistent.
