And are these terms acceptable if used within their respective communities towards each other? Who makes these rules about words and when will "trans" become an outsider insult as well (given the long history of abbreviated words turning into insults [see "j*p", "p**i", "c***k" and probably a bunch more I'm forgetting and only list out to be clear in this academic discussion])?
