Does this mean you are basically guaranteed to get a pass for every game you have activated?
If you give it some time since you last passed that particular spot (so other people with the games you have pass it), then yes!

The way Nintendo Zones work is that they're basically unsecured WiFi hotspots that the 3DS is pre-configured to automatically connect to. So it'll connect to the spot as you walk through it, just like connecting to your home WiFi. No need to open an app or the system at all.
Wait, so say I turn my smartphone into a hotspot with the same SSID as a Nintendo Zone (like Best Buy). Does that mean I can use my phone as a portable Nintendo Zone? It would be great if I don't have to carry my bulky 3DS XL around to get StreetPasses. All I would have to do is carry my phone around until someone's 3DS connects to it, then when I'm at home with my 3DS I connect it to the hotspot to receive whatever StreetPass data my phone got.
It's very shitty. So, I'll get a new streetpass and then my boyfriend will get my streetpass just after that? This doesn't fix much. Was hoping it'd amass the streetpasses.![]()

It does. I have gotten a pretty good number of StreetPasses from passing cars.I wish the 3DS had enough range to at least Streetpass other cars while i'm in traffic.

... how would your phone know how to get and send the data?
Save yourself the trouble and just carry your 3DS around. The Nintendo Zone places probably have special software from Nintendo to get the StreetPass Relay stuff to work.
Since I don't have Nintendo Zones near me (or Street passes) I don't think this will help me much.
Now please bring Miiverse to 3DS!
The number I've heard tossed around for the 3DS wireless range is ninety to a hundred feet.Has the full extent of its range ever been tested out?

So I guess that means two 3DSes need to be within about two hundred feet of each other?

I'm too embarrassed to carry my 3DS out in the open so I just leave it in my backpack. I don't take my backpack everywhere though, so this would be a good way of potentially getting more StreetPasses. If it worked, of course.

I am not sure on the exact time, but fifteen seconds seems extreme, I would guess way less. How long does it usually take for the data to transfer to another 3DS? The 3DS would have to be within range for at least 15 seconds if its sending a Mii and that players streetpass game data to your 3DS right?

Solution: grow a pair.
I don't know, but I used it to get the Animal Crossing Best Buy DLC from the comfort of my home. It probably handles StreetPass data differently but...a man can dream.

Hint: No one cares about you and they're focused on their life and problems. You learn that as you get older. I'm 32 and play my flame red 3DS on the subway daily and no one cares.
Cool shit. I live in front of a McDonalds. Time for all you motherfuckers to water my plants. >![]()

This is my last hope for any streetpassing.
It's been more then a year and I have 4 passes total.
I got an Animal Crossing house via StreetPass from someone called PIKMIN 3. The house was all decked out in Pikmin gear, is it Nintendo promotion or a very devoted fan?
