I thought I had some weird false memory about Gex being 3DO's mascot, but it does appear there was some relationship. It was a pack-in game for 3DO before it was released on Playstation and Saturn.
I have to wonder if anyone under the age of 30 sees any appeal at all to these games.

AVGN should have picked out something a bit more "less talked about"....it's obvious to anyone that Dragon Lair was all glitter less gold when it came to gameplay....but seeing that in the arcades in 1983 was a different story....

Finally I hear someone else say what I have always felt, that Super Metroid is easily the best video game that has ever been made. It is perfect. I have played thousands of games over 40 years of gaming and I'll never see another game like it again.
