Hmm, I'm interested in this. I haven't seen much of Miles or Spider-Gwen in anything. What heroes turns up in Avengers Assemble though? Has Kamala Khan shown up in any animations?

I never was into Green Lantern so I didn't check that one out.

Hahahaha

I don't know how you've managed to hold onto that optimism Razgriz.

LOL, normally I wouldn't get my hopes up but I do give Young Justice credit for the world building and expansion.
I didn't expect Barbara Gordon showing up in S1 and never expected Bette Kane to have an animated appearance.
Young Justice was pretty darn good about the surrounding world,
Like the Flash family stuff was so good.

And seriously that is as someone not even that big of a fan overall because of the main plots which I hated(and lack of character development and screentime in S2)

Man Cass and Steph on a squad together would be too good.

It better have a moment like this

Or it's a failure for all I care.

While it will be released at the same time as Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming summer blockbuster, the two are not connected.

“That was very much a happy accident because we started the process on this new Spider-Man show a few years ago,” says Lane. “The wonderful thing though is that there is this sort of synergy for the audience because they will have a film that reboots the movie franchise, and at the same time an animated series.”
Even though Marvel is rebooting the same franchise, Lane says he expects the new show will be quite different from Ultimate, while still drawing from the series’ successes.

“Stylistically, in terms of animation, it’s different,” he says. “From a storytelling perspective, it’s back to basics. It is about him becoming Spider-Man from the very beginning, which is something we didn’t even really get to do with Ultimate Spider-Man because we started the story a year into his superhero career.”

Lane says the plan is to incorporate more daring concepts and animation styles into the new series.
So yeah bact to basics. Gonna have to wait and see wear Gwen and Miles fit in

What's the name of this storyline? I want to read all those damn comics.

Spider-Verse! The premise is that a gang of vampires is tearing through all different realities and dimensions, trying to eat every version of Spider-Man. As a result, all there different versions of him wind up meeting each other and teaming up...

-Vanilla, regular Marvel Spider-Man
-Miles
-Superior Spider-Man (aka Doc Ock as Spidey)
-Every cartoon version
-Spider-Man from the Electric Company in the 70's/80's
-Spider Girl (Pete and MJ's daughter Mayday from the future)
-Everyone else ever called Spider-Man, Spider Woman, Spider-Girl or anything
-Spider Ham
-Supaidaa-Man
-Tobey and Andrew maybe showed up somewhere?
-The Capcom fighting game version shows up at least once

And then in addition, it was a great opportunity for writers and artists to come up with new takes and twists on the Spider-Man story and create new characters...

-What if he was born in Mumbai, India?
-What if he was British?
-What if it took place in the 30's?
-What if Uncle Ben got bit instead of Peter?
-What if Gwen got bit instead of Peter?
-Does the ancient African legend of Anansi the Spider God count? (answer: you bet, he's one too)

...all these versions and many more were created for the event. In fact, that's where Spider Gwen came from, she was so popular and well done she lived on beyond the event and became a super star of comics.

The whole event is a great crossover, but the best thing about it was how much creativity and fun it lent itself to. Definitely worth throwing ten bucks down on a month of Marvel Unlimited and reading through all of.

"The new series will be back to basics for Spider-Man...it will also features Miles Morales and Gwen Stacey from alternate dimensions"

If they are more experienced than Peter it could really ruin this.

Though it would be kinda interesting if main Earth Gwen is alive and well(doubt it but dies later), and potentially dating Peter while SpiderGwen is stuck there.
and then the revelation of her Peter comes out

Ha :) Never saw this before, did it just stop there or was there a followup panel?

There was some stuff before and after this panel that takes place in the old animated universe where the other Spider-people are amazed at how bad guys seem to go down in a single punch and web just turns into stuff like nets.
