The audience her at GAF is not your typical movie going crowd, especially not for a film like this one. The average American doesn't know who Ken Watanabe is, let alone how to pronounce his name. He was awesome in The Last Samurai though and I was very excited when I heard he was in Batman Begins.

Off topic, but I know everyone loves the original Batman, but I was watching it again, and Michael Keeton is -fucking- awesome as Bruce Wayne. I don't know if he plays the role accurately because I haven't read a lot of the comics, but his acting was great!

Serious, that scene where he's in Val's apartment and Joker stops by. Great stuff!

I wonder whatever happened to Michael Keaton. I don't remember him in too many more movies after that. I don't even remember his performance in the 2nd Batman

I really enjoyed Batman and parts of Batman Returns. Having read the comics, I realize why people would HATE them (Batman kills, Joker is the guy who killed his parents, Gordon is fat, Harvey Dent is Lando, etc). However, the scene above plus others (mostly involving Jack Nicholson) made it fun to watch.
