Well.. as long as they don't make supes eat a nuke.

Would be cool to have Miss Bruno McSwastikaTits in there as a villain though. :)

Wonder woman needs to look a bit more ripped/bigger. She looks looks too skinny imo. Not liking who they picked to play her at all.

The thing I don't understand about the batman armor is why can't superman just use his eye beams to shoot in the mouth hole. This superman has been shown to not care about killing as much as the others at least

He can, but he doesn't, that's the whole point of the character.

You're kidding right? That fight would end in 2 seconds if Supes really wanted too.

Batman looking like shit on that cover but I still think it's the best looking batsuit, just really hilarious angle for the shot and it's hard to not make batman look lame as fuck in photo studio lighting

Batman leaning down is always a bad angle on a cowl.
Begins suit for example
latest

Good.

Egg head.

Similar to how amazing Jim Lee cowl design looks silly from the side.

They look pretty good! I was worried about this movie for a while, but some of my fears have been assuaged in the Zach Snyder thread.

I don't think I'll have to pay for tickets when it comes out, but I'm actually looking forward to seeing it now.

I don't get the complains about Batfleck being fat. He is just strong. Cavill is the one with the skinny face with those bone cheeks.

Snyder in Wonder Woman

"She plays a super-important part. In a lot of ways, she’s the gateway drug to
the rest of the
Justice League."

I feel like Snyder is going to focus a ton on how good Wonder Woman turns out in this film, because it will definitely affect the reception of the stand alone Wonder Woman film. If she steals the show and does some amazing shit, there will definitely be a lot of anticipation for her movie.

Honestly I am fully expecting her to steal the show in the film, despite it being called Batman v Superman

Of course she is.

Snyder will probably go out of his way to make her a complete and total badass just so the haters can eat some delicious crow.

Didn't a female comic writer with knowledge of the movie say Wonder Woman steals the movie? I forget her name.

I always thought Gadot had a stupid doe-eyed look. It's not gonna help her portrayal of Wonder Woman at all for me so I hope her scenes are good

Forget about body type, needed an actress with a real look of intensity. She ain't it

For dc females I'm much more excited about Harley and Enchantress in suicide squad. Finding that to be better casting

Affleck is too fat, Gadot is too thin and Cavill is balding. What the fuck people?
It's like people just want to complain about anything.

CYCLE. ADD IT.

Man, Batman doesn't look good at all. :/

On a magazine cover with a white background. No shit.

We've seen him in the teaser trailer and he looks menacing and scary i.e Batman.

EDIT: SJRB proves the point above. That looks pretty damm good.

I get the feeling that female action stars just aren't allowed to actually look strong and imposing today. Just compare Genisys Sarah Connor to T2 Sarah Connor.

I kinda want a Dark Knight Returns film now. Could be done well if it's handled right.

It looks... I don't know. Still deciding what I think of it so far. Need to see more first.

The padding on the Batsuit is a bit much - would look much better if it matched Cavill's suit proportions. TDKR suit looked fine for the art style of the comic, but I never actually liked how it looked.

yeah i hope they lean out the suit more in future stuff. the color and texture is on point but the padding is way too bulky. this could be the perfect on screen batman if they make him leaner.

I would blame Game of Thrones for that before anything. She has to maintain a look for that show. The movie just has to work around it via costuming.

That might actually be a good way to depower Superman a little without using kryptonite.

I like that we can finally see the colour on WW suit.

Still not sold on the actor, but I'm open to being proven wrong. I guess conveying strength can be done without having the character look like a hulking beast, but at the same time, I would have preferred someone who had more of a presence and didn't look so scrawny, for lack of a better word.

Having a bunch of guys like you judge an actress based on how much muscle tone she has to have to suit your image of what Wonder Woman should look like is bad for women.

So Gal Gadot is now the "most extreme end of the spectrum away from muscular"?

Did Uma Thurman look silly fighting 88 yakuza with a slight frame in Kill Bill? How could Black Widow possibly fight against mechanical alien enemies that are bigger than her and also armored, she has no bulk at all! A good director can sell any action scene, petite girl fighting someone stronger-looking than her or not.

The perpetual complaining about Gadot's 'frame' or 'bodytype' is really just a disguise for how Gal Gadot isn't the Wonder Woman you envisioned. It's all excuses to complain about how, physically, she isn't your comic book fantasy. She isn't wearing full armor to fight against Superman, but you're not persistently complaining about how unrealistic that is. Instead, here are a bunch of comics nerds defending a Wonder Woman costume design with a battle skirt and very little armor. "Oh, historical reference!" "Oh, this is her classic look!" "Oh, this bullshit and that bullshit!" And on the side they're complaining about how unrealistic the actress's body is. Right.

This seems extreme.

I expect ripped, muscular dudes for superheroes, and I expect ripped, muscular women for superheroines.

It seems weird to see a woman who doesn't at least look like she plays tennis being cast here.

Kinda like if someone were to cast Joseph Gordon Levitt as Thor. Dude looks nice, but he's lean, and Chris Hemsworth is big and beefy. Hemsworth makes sense as Thor.

Hollywood seems like it's hung up on only ever hiring women who are built like supermodels, and that kinda sucks.

Waif-fu is a boring trope, and it's irritating seeing Hollywood cast the same extremely narrow selection of body types when it comes to women. There's more diversity among the male body types of the Avengers than the entirety of women superheroes in film.

Batman continues to look like he'll wreck your shit with ease.

I love the bigger, more bulkier look. It's finally time to embrace it for Bats. I hope that look also translates to how brutal he is in combat.

The main thing I'm concerned about with regards to WW is Gadots acting ability. So far, doesn't seem like she has a great track record in anything she's been in.

Genisys shouldn't be used as a comparison for anything.

What a silly opinion. Have we already forgotten Emily Blunt (Edge of Tomorrow), Charlize Theron (Mad Max), Gina Carano (Haywire), etc.

If she's sharing a lot of screentime with Affleck, maybe he'll be able to carry her a little bit?

I do agree though, she hasn't really impressed or being anything more than less than average in any movies she's been in.
