I think the 3-series redesign is the best-looking of the bunch. I wasn't a fan of the new 5-series look, and I agree that the 7-series is ugly as hell.

The 6-series is pure sex, though. No way in hell it ever ends up in my budget. <SIGH>

The 3 series is always bound to be the most conservative in terms of design. This one looks nice, not a classic, but it's ok. The tail lights are a bit 'Mazda' though.

Actually, I think the entire car looks very Mazda-ish. Interesting that some models have twin pipes and others have one big one.

And... after getting used to the tail lights of the 7, I actually like that redesign. The old one is quite classy though.

The side profile is hot except for the ridge thing from the fender to the rear quarter. The rear sucks especially the lights (wtf?). The front is saveable with changes to the lower bumper. But overall it's not better looking than the current 330. I'm hoping BMW is really going to distinguish the 330 and M3 this time around, if not then there goes any hope for a good looking M3 in this generation. :/

The 6 series is hot! The 7 series sucks and while I dislike the "eagle eye" thing going on with the 5 series I have no real problem with it.

While the logic behind it still escapes me I think that's still a go. So the coupe and convertible should be part of the "4 series".

Yeah, it's like the 5-series was designed first, so it looks best. And BMW just slapped its ass on everything so the 7's is too tight, and this 3's is too fat. I don't like the look of this one except from the side. That's probably how you're gonna see it. The rear is still too wide-looking there, but you also gotta see the car in person. That 7-series is quite amazing in person, especially the way it rides and how quick it can be when pushed. See a lot of 'em here. I really love BMW's engineering. And I like the Z models best. Z4 all the way. PEACE.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I hated those cheap side ridge things on the Pontiacs, and I think they look just as tacky on BMWs. The look right on the roadsters though.

like all Chris Bangle cars from BMW, it sux.

There is no flow to the design, it looks like 3 or 4 cars stuck together.

It only looks slightly better than the abject 5 & 7 only because its smaller.
