If anybody has $20 and looking for a fun negotiation game, Sons of Anarchy is really good.

I really like the way that looks but seeing how little it has raised this early, it doesn't fill me with confidence that it will get backed. And if it does, it would still be a long way from the good stretch goals like solo rules.
Do echo the worries above though, it's slow to get going.
Regarding Amazon's deals of the day, pick up New York 1901 or Garden Dice? Will be mostly playing with two players.
Wow, some awesome games in that sale. Too bad I already own pretty much all the ones I'd be interested in
-Coup or Resistance obviously if you are into social deduction
-Splendor, 7 Wonders, 1901 in terms of light but strategically interesting euros
-Concept & Dixit as party/"activity" games
There's some other games in there that are too heavy for me but critically acclaimed: 1812, Legends of Andor, & Mexica
I have played Andor it's really not that heavy. It also teaches you everything in a neat way.
It's weird to see the heavy Andor comments when the reviews of the game indicate that it's very simple and good as an introduction to board games, and any turn is basically rolling a die or two.
I mean, it could be more complicated than Amazon reviewers indicate. I just got the impression it would be too random and simplistic for me. *sips glass of fancy wine, plays worker placement Euro*hahaha ok my bad! was just going off bgg weight -- 2.7 which by my low standards is borderline.

Heads up to my board game babies in here. This is a kickstarter for a really cool bag. Wanted to make sure people see it as I've been looking for something like this for a long time.
The Game Canopy
I would back it if it carried more than square boxes or wasn't 120 bucks.

The Game Canopy
"Experience the thrill of of packing the Game Canopy full of all your favorites!" - must've sprained a muscle hustling that much
They had to make a separate pledge level to give you a shoulder strap?
I use a messenger bag to carry some games. I can usually fit two standard boxes + 2-3 mid-sized boxes, and there's still room to fit some little boxes. It's more than enough for most game nights, save for the rare all-day gaming binge, in which case the people there will probably be bringing games, too.
Andor is more Euro than Ameritrash, the only thing the dice do is decide combat. You are essentially deciding which monster to let through and which to eliminated and where would be optimum place for your character to go to.I mean, it could be more complicated than Amazon reviewers indicate. I'm currently using an Olympia duffelbag from amazon. I think it was around $30 and it's HUGE. It fits a ton of stuff. My issue with it is that it's TOO big if you just want to take one or two games.
16 is a banquet lol.My games never leave the house. Just thinking about it is like an ocd trigger of some kind. My home is set up to host large groups of people. Our dining room is basically a gaming room and that table seats 16 comfortably. People come to my games, I don't take my games to people!
Anyone else in here play Liberty or Death?
Man I love this game. Its tons of fun solo but also both as a competitive and even cooperative game.
And if you play through the tutorial game the game is quiet simple to grasp
I tried playing it solo this weekend, as a first-attempt at the game. It didn't go so well. I'm familiar with the COIN rules, but this game feels like Cuba Libre times 2.
Saltlands looks interesting to me. I love the theme and the game looks interesting as well.

I think they are crazy with the price of that Collectors edition though.
I still like to support guys that truly wouldn't be able to make a game without kickstarter as opposed to these giant companies who use it as a preorder system. This seems like one of those games.
Up to 312 'merican dollars to get all the boss expansions with the Dark Souls Kickstarter now. That isn't including shipping which I am guessing will not be cheap.

So besides the minis, is there anything to the actual game?

I am glad that I am not that interested in the gameplay because that price is just insane!
Have you played the tutorial?
that's only if you have to have every miniature being offered, the bosses are just big expansion figs. The base game right now for little over 118 or so quite a bunch of figs included with more free stuff to be added to the pledges still.
They need to get a rulebook out or such though, really want more in depth knowledge about this game, it looks cool, but so have so many big mini board games.

I read through the first part of the tutorial (the section for normal play without bots), and followed that fine. I guess it'd help to read the bot section, too?
Part of the problem is being pretty unfamiliar with what the commands are for the different factions. There's stuff I have to sort of unlearn from Cuba Libre
I'd love to hear what you, or anyone, thinks of Big Book of Madness also. It has a lot of elements that appeal to me.Getting ready for tabletop day this saturday, I decided to order 2 new games.
1) big book of madness
