New Boll Interview: Fear Effect 3 back in production?

I came across this recent interview with Uwe Boll where he mentions it:

@Play: Let's talk about your movies. BloodRayne is being released this fall, and you have four other video game-based movies in the works. Do you plan to push ahead with all of these projects?

UB: Absolutely. We're working on Dungeon Siege right now, and we have a great script for Far Cry done already and we're hoping to go into production next year. We're looking for the star right now. I'm sure we'll get a big star … I'm hoping for The Rock.

Fear Effect needs a little more time. We are not quite sure what direction we're going to develop it in. EIDOS just released news of Fear Effect 3 and I've been trying to get them to tell me about the story because I'd like to know the game's story before having a screenplay written.

haha I was just thinking about Fear Effect 1 yesterday! The first disc was soo awesome but why they hell did they turn it into a horror game :(

Hel yeah, im almost as happy as Tom

Gribbix, you probably have the most awesome avatar ever. :)

Thanks. It's from a music video by the Flaming Lips (Christmas at the Zoo). The video collection was just released on DVD this week so I'll be able to make a higher quality version.

Oh, and I forgot to quote this gem from the Boll interview:
With Dungeon Siege, for the first time I won't advertise the fact that it's a video game-based movie. We're doing a big epic with big emotion. If people liked Dances With Wolves or Braveheart, they'll like this movie

My...god. The carnage has gone too far, the man musted be stopped.

See, I'm just not going to get excited about this, for fear my heart will break again. Fear Effect 3 was one of the only cancelled titles this gen that really, really disappointed me, and I couldn't bear to have any glimer of hope smashed to bits again by another idiotic publisher.

...

*prays the news is true*

I played both Fear Effect and Fear Effect 2, didn't finish either, but I really liked them both. I'd be very happy if Fear Effect 3 were to go back into production. But with Eidos struggling financially, I don't know if they'd be willing to risk bringing it back. I definitely want to hear more on this story.

Wow, I really hope this happens. New game + crappy movie with lots of lesbian-almost-pornographic sex scenes.

Sounds fun.
