Cartoon Network has just revealed their upfronts for next season or whatever.

And these were some of the takeaways

Wabbit—A Looney Tunes Production: The hilarious, heroic and mischievous Bugs Bunny you love is back! From Warner Bros. Animation, Bugs stars in an all-new series consisting of comedic shorts that find the iconic carrot-loving rabbit matching wits against (and getting the best of) classic characters like Yosemite Sam and Wile E. Coyote. Along the way, Bugs will encounter brand-new foes…and he’ll have some help from new friends like Bigfoot and Squeaks the squirrel.

Be Cool Scooby-Doo!: Be Cool Scooby-Doo! is an all-new 22-minute animated comedy series from Warner Bros. Animation. The Scooby gang is back with a modern comedic twist on the beloved classic. With high school over and one last summer to live it up, the gang hits the road in the Mystery Machine, chasing fun and adventure. But monsters and mayhem keep getting in the way.

The Tom and Jerry Show: The iconic cat and mouse rivals are back in The Tom and Jerry Show, a new, fresh take on the classic series. Preserving the look, characters and sensibility of the original, the all-new series shines a brightly colored, high-definition lens on the madcap slapstick and never-ending battle that has made Tom and Jerry two of the most beloved characters of all time. The Tom and Jerry Show is produced by Warner Bros. Animation and will premiere Wednesday, April 9 at 5:30 p.m.

Returning Shows
Adventure Time • Legends of Chima • Teen Titans GO!
• The Amazing World of Gumball • Mixels • Tenkai Knights
• Ben 10 Omniverse • Pokémon the Series: XY • Uncle Grandpa
• Grojband • Regular Show
• Johnny Test • Steven Universe

Which I also think confirms what we've all known that Beware the Batman is done done

Doesn't look like Be Cool Scooby Doo is a continuation of Mystery Inc:

The last looney tunes and scooby doo were all great, and you can't gleam anything from those pr laden pieces (squeeks the squirrel?), so I'll give them a chance with cautious optimism.

I really only need more adventure time and regular show in my life though.

Returning shows: Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe. OK; all is right.

What the heck is Grojband? That's a returning show? Has it not premiered yet? I've never heard of it.

It's been on since last Summer. I watched it a few times and thought it was pretty enjoyable. Completely forgot about it though.

I think it's one of those obscure canadian cartoons that air really early in the afternoon that most people dont watch

Huh, it survived. It's a bit formulaic with each episode having someone in the band or the whole band getting in trouble, the lead singer needing his sister to write in her diary to give the band the lyrics they need to perform, and then a music number utilizing those lyrics. But it ain't a bad show per se though it's obviously on a tier below Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Steven Universe.

It infuriates me that something so abysmal like Johnny Test is able to continue on in the network while a bunch of amazing shows get cancelled.

Didn't we already have a new Scooby Doo series like a year or so ago?

Yes and it was awsome, highly recomended

Apparently the new Tom & Jerry show actually already aired in Canada on Teletoon: http://www.nickandmore.com/2014/02/...include-world-premiere-of-the-tom-jerry-show/

I also found a trailer for it, it looks terrible: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmJ_qag4itY

oh god that looks cheaply made...

This new Scooby Doo seems like a continuation of Mystery Incorporated.

i hope it is, since Mystery Incorporated was awesome.

I didn't like the New Looney Tunes show. It was too sitcom like and put pretty much all the characters in positions that betrayed their original personalities. Bugs' character was also completely smarmy and useless. He was played too straight. Hopefully this new cartoon plays them back towards their original personalities.

Tom and Jerry is Tom and Jerry, almost impossible to mess up as long as you don't make them talk.

Scooby Doo was never good.

Did you give the new scooby a chance? It really wasn't anything like the previous shows. It had actual characters and arching story line, good stuff.

Granted what i've seen of the new Scooby Doo is better than all of the previous ones as it's not just them running around like headless chickens for 15 minutes, but to me the cardinal sin of the show's formula is the 'mystery' always ends in an ass pull based on no evidence. My favorite Scooby Doo series (not a high bar) was a Pup named Scooby Doo for that reason - they at least vaguely tried to thatch together a mystery you could actually follow to conclusion.

But Mystery Inc. was gold tier, the sexual tension between Velma, Shaggy and Scooby was really well done.
Probably I'm the only person in the Universe that'd like a Scooby Doo cartoon without Scooby

They already modernized Bugs Bunny. Who know the one with the super annoying girlfriend that makes me want to hit something every time she talks.

They deviate from the usual formula a lot and when things get going they even discard the whole mystery of the week formula. The writers are also aware how silly the old shows were with their mysteries and they make fun about it a lot.
