New cats, need a name

Mistake

So my last cat passed away a few weeks ago. She was very nice, so it felt pretty bad putting her down. This time we decided to get a pair of kittens, since they could keep each other company while I'm at work, but also cover more of the house space too. The one with lighter coat on the left I named Mitsy, but I don't know of a good name for the second. Both girls. The darker coat so far has more energy and is a bit feisty. Any ideas? I'll get more photos soon, since they just arrived

I always said if I got a pair of cats I'd name them Buck and Mel. No, not so when I'd say "Buck and Mel" it'd sound like I'm swearing. It'd be a reference to Buck Henry and Mel Brooks, the creators of the best television show ever, "Get Smart." Anyway I guess you could name her either Melanie, Mel, Brook, or Brooks.

Honestly, once you've chosen a name and in the years following haven't made up some utterly bonkers nick names, you're doing it wrong.

One of mine is currently Mrs Meowski.

The one that just passed was Max Belly.

I once had a cat named kitty shmooks. I'd rather have something I can actually call them by though, and not too similar in case they get confused

My last two cats did. Hell, my cat wookie was basically a dog. Maybe maine coons are smarter though, who knows
No, they didn't not come when you called them.

They just happened to decide to head that way, entirely of their own volition, while you made useless mouth noises instead of giving sanctioned belly rubs or providing treats. :P

Doot and Egg
That's what we call our dogs and it seems to work. Those aren't their 'official' names mind you. Egg is also sometimes called Mister Waffles.
