I find Poland really surprising. I go to Poland a few times a year and I've never seen a big Nintendo presence. A few weeks ago I was in Empik (Polish entertainment store) and I didn't see a single Switch game. PS4/5, Xbox and PC games sure, but nothing for the Switch.

Everyone I know is who had a PS4 switched over to Series X this gen in the UK. I think it was partly down to the console being easier to buy than PS5 and because of the Bethesda acquisition.

Edit: Just to be clear, I’m only talking about a handful of people but I’m sure that there are other people out there who made similar choices based on the acquisition and Xbox consoles being easier to pick up.

If it's not the same audience, then there is no ground being lost here. You can't say that Sony needs to "prevent" losing more ground to Switch while also saying that they aren't targetting the same audience.
