DQ localization dimmed down over the years to the point some of the latest games haven't made it over, which is why people are worried this might not come over.

Did people really thought they would announced a localisation at the end of a japanese trailer?
The free DLC is about the level of announcement I expected from "shocking news." I've seen enough of Famitsu's "shocking news" things to know that they aren't nearly as exciting as they sound.
The trailer, though, wow. There's a lot more to this than I expected. I haven't been particularly excited because in the end it is still a Musou-style game developed by Omegaforce and I just haven't been a fan of them. I'm still not sure that this is going to do it for me, but there's enough Dragon Quest nods that it ignited a tiny flame for me. We'll find out how I like it in two weeks, I guess.

Yes, you can get monster coins and then summon them on the same map you got the coins on. They don't go between missions, at least based on what I read before.

I love Dragon Quest. Never played a Musou, but this game looks fun as hell. Will buy, not sure about doing the import thing ( don't know Japanese).
