New Dragon's Crown trailer

I like

Dragon's Crown |OT| Action RPG. Beat 'Em Up. Eat 'Em Up

I think getting rid of "Action RPG" in that case might sound better.

Also:

Dragon's Crown |OT| Beatin' and Eatin'.

Do I get the vita or the ps3 version? Help me decide! Arrrrgh...

Which one do you see yourself playing more? Would you prefer to be able to play with friends locally on the PlayStation 3, or would you prefer the portability of the Vita? Which do you have more people to play with online?

Depends on what they mean by "120 hrs".

If it just feels like they're stretching stuff you should be able to use from moment 1, to 20 hours per character of needless building, then not me!

If it's 120 hours because you have to play the same 20 hour story through 5 times, with little change to what's going on, then again, not me!

If it's a legit 120 hours of gameplay that refreshes itself with new wrinkles at every turn, with each spell and skill learned making you feel as if you just stepped into a new game, and enough enemy design and combat variety to supply 4 or 5 90's BEU's... SIGN ME UP!

If one thinks of the game as basically "2D side-scrolling PSO", then I think the
120 hrs" Idea sounds much more appealing. If one thinks of it as "120 hours of Final Fight 1", then... yeah, no.

All of this.

This is one if the most beautiful games I have ever played. I was thinking of getting vita only, but after spending only a bit of time with it, I'll be getting both.

I need some reviews and stuff. I'm still on the fence about this. There's so much coming out in August and I'm only planning on getting one game. Just not sure how fresh they can keep everything over the stretch of 20 hours.

LMAO, this is so unnecessary. I'm getting the game regardless, though. I get dat paycheck RIGHT ON the 25th...

Mother of God!

Any info on a EU release date yet? Last I looked it was still kind of up in the air =\

I'm going Vita with my bro, then I'll pick it up for ps3 later. Hopefully it has seperate trophy lists, like PSASBR.

Who the hell wants a 120hr beat-em-up?

Seems reasonable on Vita.

I've put in like 60 hours just on NFS:MW. Makes it so much easier and more convenient to play good games. Not going to say boo to one with good play value especially when the gameplay and game generally looks great.

Looking forward to buying on Vita, hope EU gets a release date or this will be my first Vita import without a doubt.

I think I might 'double dip' on this game despite not really wanting to. It looks awesome to have on Vita and play for small periods of time here and there but it's also kind of limiting in terms of playing with people online, where the PS3 is probably the better version. Plus, need to see that art in all it's glory. Ah well.

NISA has EU publishing rights, so expect a P4G-style couple month delay.

The art!!!! Oh man it's eye melting this game in action is beautiful I might surpass my play time on Muramasa with this one. With so many little extra systems/side quests I think this will be a huge time investment. One of my favorite parts of Muramasa was cooking and just watching the animations. Such love put into it can't wait we are so close now!

Caerith took over Retro_ for that.
Aye! I pre-ordered this the very day Ignition announced it, then re-pre-ordered it when Atlus took over. (And I'm still surprised. 4-player Cooking Mama?)

Also:

Dragon's Crown |OT| Beatin' and Eatin'.
Dragon's Crown |OT| Knock down the crown

Might be too esoteric.

I don't have a Vita, but
PS3 has a bigger screen, local co-op, and online. But if you regularly commute or something, then I can see the appeal of the Vita version.

Where is this from? I'm on the lookout for cute art to include in the OT, and this is awesome.

Is Dragon's Crown crossplay? Like if I buy it for Vita will I be able to play with my PS3 owning friends. I'm assuming that its cross-save already based upon the video.

If you want, I can make an album of Dragon's Crown art on Imgur or Minus later today. I got tons.
I would appreciate that. I've got a lot of art as well (stuff I've grabbed off videos, extracted from the main website, etc), but always looking for more. No promises I won't cut, paste, crop, and edit stuff mercilessly when I make the OT, though.

Dragon's Crown |OT| Boobs.

Done. Does it need to be anything else? Does it warrant being anything else?

Unfortunately no.

The more I see of this game the more I wish I had a time machine to jump to August 6th

Who the hell wants a 120hr beat-em-up?
I do

Yeah, unnecessary...
<.<

>.>

oh who am I kidding that's totally necessary
Dragon's Crown |OT| Beatin' and Eatin'.
It's funny, that gives me the idea of Bea-
Dragons Crown |OT| Beatin meat
yeah that.

Boobs |OT| Dragon's Crown
This could work too

I got an idea. Instead of "Welcome to the D&D World", how about

Dragon's Crown |OT| Welcome to the Double D World

well I got nothing else

I ran across this. They seem to be the basic movesets for each character

Ooo, love seeing a good writeup of the kind of moves the game has. Elf seems to be the only one with a "back, forward+Attack" move out of everyone? She definitely looks like the most mechanically complex character, which I guess is to allow for a variety of arrow showers and perhaps close-up combat moves + escapes.

Nice find!

I can't wait for this game.
