They fixed the power lines!
Look at how clean it looks!
...unless it's replay footage >.>
I tweeted them a while back asking if you could turn it off. They never replied. I remember them saying they wanted it so nobody gets an advantage, but it looks ugly and annoying more than distracting.
Is the music in game? I fucking love every bit of music i heard in driveclub videos so far. very well composed/chosen.

El car = the car
El speedy = very fast
Evolution Studios = Evolution Studios
yes there is music but it off unless you turn it on.
Mario Kart and so many other racers handle people going off racing line much better. That timer is jarring.. it is going to get very frustrating.
Fighting the good fight again are you.

... What?So corridor racer is a term now? I give it to MS that at the very least their PR is pretty good.
¿?... What?

this is the part I was most impressed by, don't see many games trying to pull off this time of day and overcast. It pretty much looked real to me.

You can see the road c0de tried to turn down on the right.
That's it, im going to take the PS plus preorder, what about that old controversy that if you "upgraded" the psplus version it only works when you have active subscription to PS Plus? they adressed that? if in a year i didnt have Ps Plus anymore the game will work offline?

He's saying that the term corridor racer is conveniently beneficial to Microsoft's open world racer Forza Horizon 2, making it seem like PR for Microsoft.

And we're pointing out how attributing any petty comment about Driveclub to Microsoft PR is absolutely loony.

Missing skid marks near the end of the video...
Are you sure that Microsoft said that? I tried to do a quick search for it on Google, but i couldnt find anything. I wonder how Turn10 would feel about it if MS used "corridor racer" in a negative way.I don't remember the term used before for past racers and MS just run an add hammering the point.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm not, maybe MS.

I never said that they said it (not that I'd be surprised if they did). It is certainly the angle they were going when promoting the new Forza and if a corridor racer is now a negative thing than they have succeeded.
Ah ok, i thought you ment that Microsoft said it, but i see now that you're referring to the Horizon 2 ads. I dont think that they necessarily mean it as something negative, but rather trying to use the open world as a selling point. Forza 5 is afterall a "corridor racer".I never said that they said it (not that I'd be surprised if they did). Nothing contradictory in what I said, If you jump to concluding it might seem contradictory.I assert that you're trying to say two contradictory things. You need to separate your annoyance with people from your feelings on how duplicitous a company must be.

I agree, i dont know why the term "corridor racer" is being used now. Tons of racing games are like that and personally i dont think i've ever seen the term "corridor racer" before, except recently with Driveclub.Yes, and it wasn't a bad thing when GT or Forza were released but it is now for some reason.
