Man EGM is getting pretty bad at having timely reviews out. 7 360 games due in March and they have 1 of them reviewed before street date. What the hell.

WTF?

This just in, EGM thinks Final Fight Streetwise and Stage of Emergency 2 is better / on par with Onimusha fuckin 4. :lol

not their/our fault. it's when we're sent the review code.

WTF? at MLB 06 scores, seems really low (especially the 4). Pursuit Force also savaged, although I haven't played it yet so maybe it's on the button.

Subsistence better hurry up and release. I avoided playing the full original game just to play the updated version.

This Just in: EGM isn't to be trusted.

Did OXM get the scoop on Oblivion then? This is what I was really hoping to get your (EGM's) opinion on. Not that I won't be picking it up anyway =P

Kickass!!

Though that Onimusha score is a big WTF?! A 4.5?!

Ah, the hell with it. The other reviews already said it was good and a fan like me would love it.

I'd say the Onimusha scores are accurate, going from the demo.

I just finished Acid 1, can't frigging wait for 2 and Subsistence!

Ehh?? Even the less polished European version deserved better than that. Been playing the retail U.S. version for a few days and completely enjoying it with the adjusted difficulty and checkpoints.

EGM seems to have a history of scoring PSP games quite a bit lower than everyone else, and I'd say MGA2 is probably among the highest they've given out.

graw is not the game of the month?!!! come on..... i understand the mgs love but it's a re-make for christsakess.

QFT.

I don't even think mags should re-review this tripe. New games should be all that is qualified as GOTM material, at the very least. Konami and Capcom(DMC3 SE) are just gauging us to buy their games again. And I don't care if the online mode is the greatest online mode in history, I will not buy this shit on principle alone. Yeah, I know I'm missing out, but we should be sending a message to these publishers.

Bitter much? Go cry to your mommy.

As a person who knows action games in and out and it takes a damn good one to actually moderately impress me, I can say that those scores are INACCURATE, you know, going from the actual fuckin entire game.

But hey if you think a 4.5 is accurate when the intro CG in Onimusha 4 pretty much beats Final Fight and SoE2 in their entirety that's on you.

Pursuit Force (PSP, Sony): 3,5 / 4,0 / 6,5
Is it drastically different from the Demo disc? That was rather fun... what's up with the scores?

Black (Xbox/PS2, EA): 6,5 / 6,0 / 8,0
=\ It wasn't nearly that bad, actually, it was a lot of fun.

I don't understand the 1up/egm/opm crew's ratings sometimes, actually, I don't really understand review sites/magazines in general.

huh? have seen all the shit the MGS3:S has? it's almost like a new game and DMC3:SE has a lot of new stuff for 20 dollars can't go wrong with either of them sorry.

Good to hear, I always thought this was an interesting looking game. Along the lines of being late with reviews, I understand they have no control over getting the review code, but it's still disappointing to see no Daxter or Syphon Filter reviews, even though they come out next week.

Don't mind him. He' just pissed he bought Snake eater for $50. Granted, I did too, but I'm not so bitter about it.

I've only played the way-too-difficult European version, but even that deserved a much higher score. I can see how 6.5/10 could be justified, but 3.5/10 is just ridiculous.

Nice MGA2 score. Is this a continuation of MGA1 or do you guys think it can be enjoyed on its own?

I don't think it's a continuation storywise. Acid's story was wacked, but how it all came together at the end was actually pretty damn cool. Here's what Che had to say in the last Acid thread-

"I've been playing Acid 2 (english version) exclusively as a handheld game for the past month or so and it's excellent. Fixes all the things that bugged me about the first game (although I still enjoyed it), essentially making it almost flawless. Ho, but it is still a very quirky game. If you like X-Com style tactics, then you won't really mind the fact that it's married to a strange, yet compelling random draw card battle system. The story is a bit better this time around too. Definitely pick it up.

BEST GAME ON THIS PIECE OF TRASH WE LIKE TO CALL THE PSP."

Think of it as an Xbox port... except it's only coming to the PS2. :lol

It's a new release. It's got lots of new content. More than all of the $60 "next-gen" ports combined. Please quit your bitching.

I'm bummed with the Pursuit Force and Black scores. :/

The lack of a Burnout Revenge 360 review is a little odd as well.
