His work with the FFT OST is awesome. Iwata does a good job too, of course. I think Iwata is involved with the XII OST as well. Anyway the samples I heard are indeed his good old Final Fantasy Tactics styled music. And being a VGM fan this will be a big part of my FFXII experience.

Kinda off-topic:

I finished FF8 for the first time today and talk about crazy, schizo ending. I liked it VERY much and it should end when Rinoa's space helmet exploded and Squall down on his knees.

Renzokuken did wonders, I never really bothered using other characters, they just healed/ aura'ed Squall, nothing else. My main party - Zell lvl 24, Squall lvl 57 and Quistis lvl 47, Zell had 4600 HP, Griever's Shockwave Pulsar took 95% of his health.

I never imagined I would say this but FF8 is better than FF7 and FF9. Best PSX FF out there.

I don't know what to think about this game. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I don't know dick about the world or the characters. I'll give Square props for making the in-game models look so similiar to the CG ones, though. Quite a change from FFX.

It's not the fact that the guys look girly that bothers me (honestly, this is been the way of FF for awhile, it's the way it -just- is).

But, it's that--all the guys seemingly have the same nose style, same jaw-line, practically the same face.
