new GE: Rogue Agent (Nintendogs) videos

I never played RA. What the fuck is with the two 250+ armors one after another. What kind of pussy shit is that?

The music is awesome btw.

Most of the game is like that. You also have life that recharges and can get the "golden shield" ability.

I still liked the game better at E3. Few of the abilities were implemented and it was actually challenging.

game looks good in motion, nice frame rate and the controls look solid.

I'ts probably running at 25fps max but the combat engine looks laughable and unfun. The Hit detection is poor and reminds me of Red Faction 2 and the hostage grabbing looks useless. Did you see how he threw his hostage at the guy firing at him? :lol

Lets not forget that its a handheld game. Compared to Coded Arms this looks really good (in motion). Also IGN vids are alwasys 30 FPS, game probably looks smoother in motion.

That cutscene was awesome.

Tropical trees, snow, a lake AND a island contained in a small area.
Hahaha, you're right! And yeah, that music was utterly fantastic. :lol

Lets not forget that it's an EA game and is liable to suck.

That hit detection looks HORRIBLE.

For a handheld first-person shooter, the gameplay doesn't look too bad, but the music...I hope to God that is place holder music...Or else I don't know if I'll be able to review it.

In the video "Through the Fortress" the level reminds me a lot of the construction site level in max payne 2, the one where you
play as mona
It's waaaaay too similar. It would be exact if max payne 2 was a poorly done ps1 game.

Oh man, I thought you guys were joking about the music. It is pretty awesome! (despite how unfitting I think it is) Someone please make copy/remix of it or something! :lol

Anyway, even if the game does turn out to be lame, I'd probably buy it just to have mindless fun in my pants.... I mean... uh, err.. uh... Vote Quimby.

That's pretty impressive...well, for a DS, anyway. Watching the DS do 3D is kind of like watching the 100-meter dash at the Special Olympics.

Nice-looking for a DS game. I couldn't believe some of that hit detection, though. Jesus.

Obviously the music is awesome.

I swear, some of these games are putting the DS at risk of being the "so bad it's good" system. If developers aren't going to be make a reasonable 3D game, they should try something else.

And that music is straight out of the 8-bit era. Fuck.

The graphics and controls seem decent, but the collision detection looks awful. And that music... it sounds like MIDI from an early 90's PC game like Jazz Jackrabbit. Except worse.

This game and that music is like that B Horror Flick cult classic. So bad that it HAD to of been done on purpose like a satire. Or not.
