i really dislike that scene/gif of the trailer, its really robotic, especially the guy on the right.
Yeah, it's not GTA4 levels of amazing compared to similar games.

All I wanna hear is that they've finally improved the shooting mechanic so that it's at least on par with other third person action games....

RDR wasn't bad, and Max Payne is really good. That's what I'm expecting: I'm not accepting anything less.

I dont know about all of you, but I'm wanting this game to be as close to the level of ridiculous as San Andreas.

In a generation where we got Saints Row 2 and 3 and Just Cause 2 people should be not be scared that GTA 5 is going back to its San Andreas roots. That game was like GTA 4 compared to those other clown games.

With GTA4 they had gone for the more dramatic crime movie approach, with the results we all know about, with GTAV, it's clear they aim at the huge Hollywood action blockbuster, Michael Bay style.

Anyway tht blimp was there since Trailer 1, i think it's just an environment prop.

Wow 3 MC's? Interesting, I'm sure they'll pull it off just fine then. Guess I'll go back and look at the trailers.
These are the three MCs:
Basically:
Michael, the white dude on the phone, is the older wiser guy; kind of the planner, thoughtful, mastermind of the crew.
Franklin in the black dude on the back, and he's basically a post gang culture young man, who wants to make it big in the criminal underworld, and is very serious about it.
Trevor, the balding man on the far right, is an ex army pilot psychopath with little moral restrictions and, presumably, a bad temper.
As far as we know, you can interchange between the three at any time with a radial menu that you call up with the press of a button, in real time, and the game will zoom out in a sort of google map view, to zoom back in to your character.
This during freeplay, outside of missions, and they say these characters actually exist in the world while you play as another one, so you can play as Michael and invite Franklin to play Tennis or Golf with you, for example.. or when you change character, you may find them in various situations, be it driving around, flying a plane or taking a shit.
During missions, the game is more restricted, there are missions that are solo, some involve two characters and some all 3, during these missions you can change back and forth between them all, but it's not completely free and it really depends on the mission.
Their idea was to cut down on mission's downtimes and always give you the chance of playing the most fun part of a mission, be it driving, sniping or whatever you like best.

How about this. A helicopter with a giant claw that lets you scoop sharks out of the ocean and drop them into shopping districts.
I think that this blimp is an easter egg linked to Howard Hughes, and his Hells Angels film , the most expensive movie of its era, a development hell with countless delays; more or less like GTA V.
Hughes worked in South california and he already appeared in LA Noire. I´m sure that the blimp is not there without a purpose, I would be really surprised if we can´t pilot it.

I had to kill one of every creature in the game to get one of my outfits.
Considering they pretty much had the best shooting mechanics in a game this year with Max Payne 3, I think GTAV should be pretty much improved.
Oh jesus don't tempt me, a GTA game with the shooting fluidity/fidelity of Max Payne 3? *swoons*

Still not sold on this game. The shark was close, though.
GTAIV was the first and only R* freeroamer I didn't beat and just couldn't get into, then they made what I consider the TRUE GTA4, the true successor to San Andreas and that's Red Dead Redemption.
This is going to need to do a LOT to get me excited.

maybe. I'm sure someone has better ideas.
In the previews they mentioned Trevor using a gas tank to set fire to his truck, and apparently there's a freeform mechanic behind that.
