a quote from the Rep making the abortion remark.

"The selective outrage about this I find quite curious," he said. "Every week in Manchester, the fourth-grade class from 2025 is killed out. Babies that would be 10 years old and in fourth grade 10 years from now are aborted in Manchester, and there's no outrage."

He knew exactly what he was doing. He is using 4th graders to get nationwide attention from conservative money.

You might think he looks like a fool but the next election for a US House seat watch him get the nomination because of this comment.

I don't think anyone think he's a fool. Just a sociopathic, insane, asshole.

These people should learn to how to think about what they are saying because that's fucked up.

How do you go from talking about a state raptor and end up with Planned Parenthood? That guy's got a hell of a mind.
Ain't nothing but mutilation of fetuses and female genitalia to keep his mind occupied while in office. Maybe a raptor should tear his brain out bit by bit to put him out if his misery. The kids can celebrate the day in the future by eating the state hotdog every year.

One of those kids is going to learn falconry and teach his Red Tail to claw out still-beating hearts from the people who voted against this bill, pausing only to laugh as razor sharp talons rend through fresh arteries like a knife.

I don't get why the bill wasn't passed? Talk about a bunch of shitheads turning off future voters. I mean wtf, what did any of this have to do with abortion?

Isn't the motto of the state "Live Free or Die" as well?

Nothing but sociopaths demonstrating their lack of empathy. If anything good comes out of this, hopefully these children will remember exactly what the GOP stands for, and vote for anyone else when they're old enough.

Since the other thread got closed, I might as well put the hard data here

http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/bil...umber&txtsessionyear=2015&txtbillnumber=hb373

HB 373, establishing the red-tailed hawk as the New Hampshire state raptor. MAJORITY: OUGHT TO PASS. MINORITY: INEXPEDIENT TO LEGISLATE.

Sponsors: Robert Cushing (d) Michael Cahill (d) Laura Pantelakos (d)
Martha Fuller Clark (d) Timothy Horrigan (d) Charles McMahon (r)
David Borden (d)

FYI, the NH General Court is 239 Republicans, 160 Democrats

The Republicans really revel in being gigantic assholes. I don't even know what politics is actually for anymore in this country, it certainly isn't for governance that's for sure.

This reminds me of the field trip I took in elementary school to the courthouse. The judge was unfriendly and told us he didn't ever want to see any of us again.
The judge had more important things to do than entertain a bunch of bratty kids, I never understand the whole "let's see what the grownups are doing?", go do your homework or play outside and get some exercise. I worry when I become a parent what I would do when my kid tells me his teacher wants me to take him to work for a day that I wouldn't just call and tell the teacher to fuck off.

Kids drafting a bill, go read a book or learn your math, or make yourself useful in the yard.

Inexpedient to legislate. Geez. It's adopting a damn state bird as a symbol for the sake of some kids who came to see how government works. Apparently it's too time consuming to deal with this, but not time consuming to rail in front of a bunch of kids that abortions are killing their fellow classmates of 2025 or whatever. Disgusting.

Haha. I am almost impressed by this guy's obsession and dedication to abortion fantasies.

You understand very little about how we actually learn. I would rectify that before you become a parent.

It would be best that you NEVER become a parent and go live somewhere in the woods by yourself for the remainder of your lifespan.

Quite serious. Never ever become a parent because you are not fit to be one.

You probably will end up getting someone pregnant, too

Your username is fitting.

It's not about the issue, it's about how they acted like petty children with their planned parenthood comments and bullied 4th graders by telling them what they did was a waste of time and pointless.

The first is unprofessional and pathetic for someone in a government position to be doing (particularly a legislator)

The second is sending the absolute worst message you can about the civil process and democracy in action.

Did they know about it being from fourth graders ahead of time? It seems more likely no one told them, not that they just hate fourth graders.
