Shinta Nojiri (Director) did Ghost Babel, and Masahiro Hinami (Producer) directed Ring of Red. The character designer did the character designs for ZOE2.

Yeah it comes out Jan 1st and basically it is Samurai 3. But unlike 1/2 it's mission based rather than free-roaming (which kills the best part of the first two games IMO) and the game is in a completely fictional timeline rather than historical one (another negative point).

As I fan of the first two games I'm planning on picking it up, but the design decisions so far don't give me much hope

But it had one of my favorite game soundtracks ever, I think... Love the 5th stage song.

Yeah, and it should also be noted that the game isn't an MGS game, since there's no "Solid" in there. I interpret it like it doesn't belong to the true Metal Gear Solid series.
