lf this trailer doesn't show off either Superman or GL I will be shocked and pleasantly surprised. Warner Bros only got like 5 weeks to fuck this marketing up.

That's... alright I guess? Though still to CG heavy for my taste. It looks so fake and plasticky.

All those real actors stick out like they don't belong in there.

Its so weird i know nothing about cyborg, flash or Khal Drago and they didnt do anything to excite me. Didnt feel the music either trailer was kinda meh 4/10 still looking forward to seeing it.

edit: and who or what are they fighting?

That looked terrible. My goodness. The action sequences with Cyborg and Aquaman looked bad.

Pretty sure Fox Sports is inadvertently playing the trailer during commercial breaks on their streaming service right now. Seen it maybe 4 times now.

Starts with a dream where Supe tells Lois, "I'll take that as a yes" in reference to the ring she wore at his funeral. Trailer ends on a really dumb Flash joke with Bruce and Diana where he spots the Bat Signal and tells Bruce "oh, that's your bat.." *shh motion over his mouth*

Props to you, you called it.

Winner winner
Chicken dinner

That was a great trailer, and in the tone I predicted earlier in the thread, to the tee. My expectations have been elevated.

Don't you normally have a trailer with some hints as to the story? I appreciate not ruining the entire movie but we literally know nothing about the plot. Which is concerning that the plot is awful so they are just hiding it.

If you're familiar with DC Comics then you can pretty much guess almost every major beat from that trailer. If not: otherworldly power appears to be assaulting earth, and has been doing so from very long ago.

Umm, what? Clearly some big bad has an army attempting to take over earth, and a team of heroes needs to stop it. It's the avengers. What is unclear about that from the trailer?

Yep! Nothing complicated or difficult to grasp about it. DC did a big Invasion crossover storyline years ago. I haven't read comics in a couple of decades, so I have no idea if this is at all inspired by or not.

p.s. random factoid - Todd McFarlane actually did some art for this before his Spider-man fame and...aside from the typical McFarlane potato faces...it wasn't half bad.

Trailer did absolutely nothing for me. The characters don't seem too bad, but I feel like there should have been more lead-in to this film, and the colour pallet is fucking gross.
