The magazine could be english (as in great britain). That could explain the late dates. The grammatical errors are kind of glaring though.

I don't know whether it's 'fake' or not. Besides, it's too near to e3 for me to care much.

If this is real, it's going to be in the new GameInformer.

I don't have a scan, because I'm currently looking at the Chronicles of Riddick issue (old, I know), but they use the same 'orange square' before a line of text on the image like this scan does.

I hope it's real. 2D Metroid? Mario and Luigi (that could be great with the touchscreen)? Awesome.

Craig at IGN has also hinted at a DS game he;s really excited about, but can't mention. A 2D Metroid would certainly fit.

it's the 2006 bit i don't understand. most of these titles are due for 2005.

also the grammatical errors.

looks probable, but a bit fakey.

Folder basically confirmed Mario Strikers in the other thread, and Battalion Wars was on IGN about a week ago before they quickly changed it (although if you know that, you'd probably add it when making a fake), so it's looking more and more likely real.

Jeux france is a french website, so this mag is most likely an european one. So the 2006 (which could mean anythig like "out before MArch 2k6") is not impossible.

Mario Strikers make it even more reliable as an euro source (who cares about soccer in the US ?)

it's great news if true.

i'd love a 2d metroid on the ds, and m&l ss 2 by alphadream would be great.

so maybe pro evo team developing mario strikers?

i don't understand the new gba talk if nintendo is clearly winding down game development.

still not keen on the zelda name...

this news is not from jeux france

The opening sentance is the main one I have a problem with, but the layout looks very familiar and authentic. "06 lineup" too. Most of these will be out in 05 as someone has already pointed out. There's a lot of software there that I'd buy though.

It does look like CUBE. Or maybe NGC. Not sure which.

If it's a UK mag, why do they spell utilise with a z, and why do they say soccer instead of football?
If it's a US mag, why is Donkey Konga 2 on there.
Also the error in the first sentence is appalling.

Like I said, the format the scan is in is exactly identical to how Game Informer does it.

Anyone with a Game Informer should open it up and take a look at the previews and such in the middle of the magazine, they always use the colored squares and they have one with that exact shade of orange. That, or some other magazine just ripped off of them. :P

Also, why is DKC3 not releasing until 2006 in Europe, where it would likely launch earlier being from Rare? And, by the same token, why is it not releasing until 2006.

It's a bad fake...they needed to check this one over before leaking it.

OMG, Nintendo Tetris. THANK YOU GOD, FINALLY (I'm not being sarcastic, I'm serious)

So should we take your serious comments as final confirmation that this list is indeed factual?

Shadow on the right of the page looks fake. Also, some of the text blurring looks done in photoshop...I'd recreate this and show that it *could* be fake, but it's graduation weekend and I'm stuck being dressed up and social.

Let's just settle on it being Canadian.

I dunno any more than the next guy.

Okay, that's a lie. But still!

Based on what I've heard here in Tokyo, I would say that list has a 49% chance of being fake. Do the math. :p

You are one magnificent bastard. E3 truly is the season for cryptic comments.

What i´ve heard it´s from the latest issue of GameInformer. But who knows, probably it is fake ;)

Guys this is from the next GI, and its gotta be real ... hell they have even psoted the same stuff on their website ...

http://www.gameinformer.com/News/Story/200505/N05.0505.1812.35169.htm

'Mario Baseball won’t be the only Mario sports title revealed at E3. '

'The Legend of Zelda will be one of the primary focuses for Nintendo at E3, and we will learn the official name of the game, and the reason behind showing the howling wolf at the end of the GDC trailer. '

'A surprising number of GBA titles will be getting sequels on the Nintendo DS, including a possible appearance of another Mario & Luigi. '

The DK2 thing is a typo, it meant to say DK 3.

Nintendo Tetris doesn't sound too crazy. After all, THQ has a deal with Nintendo allowing them to use Nintendo franchises right?

Oh, good point. Forgot about that.

I wonder if Super Mario Strikers will be on the Sega Soccer Slam engine like folder hinted at. I guess it wouldn't be too much of a stretch since AV has already worked on a Nintendo franshise.

Wait one second...you're telling me that there have been rumours of the Soccer Slam engine being used for a Mario Sports title?

Screw my previous pessimism about the rest of this particular scan...if this ends up true, I shall happy dance. Happy Dance like I've never happy danced before. What a freakin' fantastic game engine. The game needed some more modes and variety, but the engine was fantastic. While the original developer technically has been taken over by EA, Amusement Vision was its Sega developer and I really hope this is true.

Nintendo's new strategy for their Mario Milking is great...farm out the sports titles to developers who have engines already in place and crank out 2 a year. While I'll likely pass on baseball unless it's incredibly fantastic, a Soccer Slam Engine Soccer title is MINE.

Would be cool if the new Mario and Luigi had online support. I also hope there is a 2d Multiplayer of some sorts for the new Metroid.

Well, if you're a Metroid fan, you better get one.

I'm actually really excited about AoE on DS. It's the only handheld so far that can duplicate mouse controls. And if the do it right, the stylus might actually make for an even more natural control scheme.

Well I think its now confirmed..

If real:

As cool as some of those DS titles are, if I'm going to buy a DS, it's original content I want, not more and more sequels. I mean, yeah, I really enjoyed the 30 hours I spent with Mario & Luigi, but do I want more? Not necessarily. I can't say I enjoyed Metroid: Zero Mission much, and I'm kinda burned out on the whole genre even though I know I'd buy Castlevania and a new Metroid if I had a DS.

Honestly, Nintendo Tetris is the game on that list that intrigues me most. That'd be huge. Otherwise, I'm really hoping that's truly a partial list and that we'll get some of the goods Japan has had along with some cool new games.

Damn :(

I hope there are some original surprises for the DS... just when I started to think a DS purchase was definite for me, out comes Nintendo with sequels galore. Ah well, I'll wait and see what they're attempting to do with these next week.

GBA also appears to be dead for them, unless there's some stuff GI isn't sharing. Does that mean we're not getting DK: King of Swing? Is Custom Robo 2 still in the works?

On another note... what's the deal with Game Informer? Were they left out of the loop? Nintendo confirmed Four Swords DS back in July 2004. Since when is that a "recent" announcement?
