Whoa fuck!! Niiiceee :D Too bad the game is probably never going to come out here in Europe... However, with the recent succes of Disgaea and Capcom and Namco bringing more games out over here.... There could be a chance... 10% chance I guess... :(

I like the way they brought all the characters to the same style in those anime-esque shots.. Nice job!

Imagine the story line. I used to love the DC worlds crossover comics and this game looks killer (Plus its a SRPG) which would be great. Can't get enough. The concerns about this crossing the big pond is the killer issue I guess :'( It looks too Japanese for them to want to port it.

OMG, the Forgotten Worlds dude! That's rad. Wonder if his mohawked friend's in there. (Is that the FW shop chick?)

He's pretty cool himself, some 80's sci-fi dude. Who is he?

I can't really get excited for this game. If it was a fighter, sure. But I have no idea how they're going to fit all these characters together and actually make a coherent story.

The lawyer dude from those GBA games should be in this game. And he points at people and that does -999 to their stamina.

That's what Capcom X Namco is for.:) a Marvel vs Capcom style fighter would be nice. They can't exactly fit 200+ characters in one though.

OK WTF did they do to Ryu. I wish they could have a couple different artstyles representative of each franchise or something, rather than one single style. Ryu looks so wrong here...

This game is second on my must-have list after CVDS. Major coolness. Even if it's not a fighter, you have Kos-Mos, Chun-Li, Juli and Hsien-Ko in the same game. If Nightmare or Siegfried turns up (quite likely) I'll just die.

Hmm.

I suppose it's too much to ask for a GC port, even if it's being done by the two third parties who seem to be the nicest to Nintendo, eh?

"Buy a PS2"?

Seriously. I mean, honestly, who owns a GC without also owning a PS2? Well, unless there are people out there with some weird hangup about paying more than $99 for a console.

I was just making fun of the phrase, I wasn't serious. I just always find it humorous that people are like "I want A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H game, but I don't want the system it's on. I only want it for the system I currently own." I mean, wouldn't being interested in those games prompt you to want the system? We're here to play games, after all :P

Game on system you have = $50

Game on system which you don't own and will have to purchase to play it = $150

The logic is pretty plain to me.

But yeah, buy a PS2, you're not going to be seeing this on GC and theres a s**tload of great PS2 games to catch up on. :)

Yes that's Taizou, the main guy from Dig Dug looking all kickass like the pimp he is with his super pumping equipment and going "This is MY speciality!".

This game is going to rock. The director/writer Morizumi Souichirou on this project was apparently previously from Banpresto having written and directed games such as Super Robot Wars Impact. Super Robot Wars MX, the WSC SRW Compact series and SRWA for GBA. I guess Monolithsoft courted him just for this project. :D

For a moment I thought I was in the /a/ section of 4chan...I really don't like this arstyle. It's too simple. Both Namco and Capcom have better illustrators.

WHERE ARE YOU AKIMAN ????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When did he get the name, anyways? As of this game?

It almost looks like theyu've got I.G./Gainax doing the cutscenes. It looks a lot like their more recent work like Abenobashi Magical Shopping District and Gunbuster 2.

Jin looks fucked up too.

It's just Production IG doing the opening movie. There are no further cutscenes as far as I know, nor do I expect any. The story will likely be told the way SRW games are, on the maps themselves.

Pity that little Nemo was a license, as I would have loved to have seen him here. The little cabbage guy in armor by Valkyrie, wasn't his name Whirlo? He had an awesome sfc game.

Holy shit, I just realized there's a Tekken character in there too. Is there anyone else from Tekken besides Jin in this game?
